No Hunting, discharge of firearms, bachelor parties, or any other type of large parties allowed on property or any harvesting of any kind or will be asked to leave. If there are more then 10 people on the property at any given time there needed to be approval in advance.

I have rented this place the past few years and it never disappoints. You can't beat the peaceful country setting.

Would stay again.
Great place to stay if your looking for your own little personal oasis. It's quit and secluded. House is nice and very well stocked with all kinds of random things. Only thing I would say is the term "swimming pond" is not what i would use. Don't get me wrong, it's a pond and you can for sure swim in it, but it's not really what you picture when you think of a sand bottom swimming pond. Also bring lots of bug spray and keep an eye for ticks. This isn't a house things, its a Wisconsin thing. All and all I do recommended staying here, we as a group of 7 were comfortable and had a wonderful time.

Photos do not serve this place justice!
The property is amazing! So peaceful and secluded yet not too far away from society if you have to run for something. The photos really do not showcase all the beauty here. We are planning a return trip already!

Peaceful secluded stay
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Had every amenity you could need. We and our dog loved the seclusion, the trails and having campfires at night. Close enough to my attractions as well. We look forward to making it back again one day. Thanks for the great hospitality.

Friends, Family, and Fire
We had a great time! Beautiful setting and ambience! It was the perfect escape from the Covid created home office, Google Meetings, excessive emails, and blinding screens. The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable. I look forward to returning yearly as it is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of modernity.

Great Place for Families
We had an awesome time during our stay at this cabin. There was plenty to do for our two young kids (4 1/2 and 2) and the adults enjoyed themselves as well. The sand pit is way more expansive than I would have thought possible before the trip and was the favorite item for the girls (we played in it every day and would have been happy to have spent even more time there). Enjoyed the trails, the pond (boat and fishing), the fire pit - just all around had a great time. Cabin itself was perfect size for us and was very comfortable to stay in. Would definitely book again.

Fantastic stay!
We had an awesome stay, just my husband and I, and our doggy. The property is super spacious and very private, yet close enough to civilization still. Between the beautiful trails, coziness of the fire pit, best starry nights, you name it- we had it. Wonderful tranquil getaway, that will be very memorable. Rene was great, provided all the help and answers to all possible questions.
We also had a surprise visitor, who didn't leave our sight...we couldn't invite her back home with us because our dog was super jealous, but would love to know about her future, she was extremely lovely and sweet!!!

Great weekend getaway
This cabin was pretty amazing. A huge open field followed by hiking trails and one leading to a pretty good size pond. The pond was full of fish. We caught a good size catfish and a couple bluegill. The cabin is neatly kept and has a homey vibe to it. It was an Amish paradise. Not having internet connection made the time better (even for a millennial) it allowed you to enjoy the outdoors even that much more. Rene was a great help. My pup did enjoy the stay as well. Highly recommend.

Family Getaway!
e really enjoyed the privacy and family friendly property. We were looking to be surrounded by nature and have the charm of a cabin rental, and this fit us perfectly. The owner had excellent communication and was open to texts and questions at any time. The property had a great mix of open grass for outdoor playtime, ponds to row-boat on, and wooded hiking trails for getting out in nature. We would love to come back in the Fall and experience the change of seasons!

Private pet-friendly cabin is perfect for hiking, fishing, and relaxing!
This secluded cabin just outside of town is close enough to the necessary amenities (groceries, take-out, gas, bait, etc), yet private enough to maintain isolation. We stayed for 4 nights and wished we could have stayed longer.
The fishing pond is less than a 5 minute trail walk from the cabin, and is great for shore casting. The 12" smallmouth bass by daughter caught made her entire weekend!
The maintained hiking trails seem to run in and around the entire property, and i'm sure there were more overgrown trails that we missed too. Bring your machette and adventure further.
It was nice to be able to sit around the camp fire and make smores for the kids. The pre-split supply of fire wood that was sheltered from the weather made it easy to show off my fire starting skills for the kids and wife, LOL. The mosquito fogger and propane supplied at the cabin, along with the fogger solution we brought, made the evenings around the camp fire more comfortable by greatly helping to reduce the amount of mosquitos.
The inside of the cabin was rustic, as it should be, yet clean and well maintained. The wide array of sleeping options gave everyone more than enough room to sleep comfortably for the 7 of us. This cabin works best for two families with several children, as it will sleep 10 older kids/adult or more if you have younger/smaller kids.
We would definately stay here again! The owner was very responsive to our questions, and was a pleasure to work with. This may be a new annual trip destination for our family!

The cabin is located 3 minutes off I-90 at the New Lisbon Exit 61. Castle Rock Lake is 5-10 minutes away which is great for water skiing, jet skiing, and fishing (4th largest lake in Wisconsin). 10 Minutes Castle Rock Golf Course. 25 Minutes to Wisconsin Dells. 40 Minutes to Cascade Mountain snow skiing.
Getting around

Exit # 61 New Lisbon, at ramp stop sign make a right if coming from Wisconsin Dells, next immediate street is Frontage Rd- make a right, then immediate Left onto Germantown Rd. Go down 1.5 miles and at fork in road stay left onto 11th Ave. It will be the first driveway on the left (1/4 mile down).
