Walk down the elfin path to a welcoming red door that opens to a warm knotty pine paneled interior that features a queen sized bed nestled into a window-lined alcove with water views that stretch forever.
Unwind, take a nap on the waterfront hammock on your private beachfront (summer only) or depending on weather, curl up in front of the charming gas stove. Cook a meal in the small but efficient kitchen equipped with everything two people need. Dine on the intimate table set for two inside or sit outside and enjoy a BBQ on the deck.

Pets welcomed from about October 16, 2015 thru about May 10 each year. (if in doubt, please call.) No pets during our Dream and Summer seasons.
We ask a reasonable pet surcharge of $20/night or $70/stay (up to 7 nights)
We ask for a fully refundable pet deposit of $100.
Your pet must be, at least, 2 years old to stay at our cottages.
Isle Dream welcomes small pets (less than 30lbs) only.
The cottage is small, a larger pet will not be happy here.

Cozy Cottage
Quiet, cozy cottage amongst the trees with spectacular waterfront views. It has everything you need including a small stove, fridge, microwave & also a grill outside. Driving into town is only about a 10 min drive. Our hosts communicated well with us and we had no issues checking in or out.

Perfect
This cottage was so cute. The view is amazing and the whole layout of the place was great. The team made our stay feel very special. We will be staying here again and enjoyed every moment of it. It is located very close to Eastsound, which was really convenient. They've paid attention to all of the details so you don't have to.

Yes, we are happy that guests like you help us preserve some of the small cabin/cottages on island just the way it used to be. . . (but with electricity, running water and now, even air conditioning!)

Romantic Waterfront Cottage
My wife and I had a wonderful four nights at the Isle Dream Cottage. It was the favorite part of our first visit to the Seattle area. If you like relaxing on a deck overlooking a beautiful waterfront view sipping your favorite drink or just reading a good book, this could be what you're looking for. After spending busy days whale watching, hiking and cycling, we so looked forward to getting back to the cottage to just relax. It is exactly as described in detail on the Dream Cottages website so read the description carefully. It is a steep lot as are many waterfront accommodations on Orcas Island, so it can be a challenge for some people getting their luggage to the cottage and walking down to the waterfront hammock and dock. It is just a short drive to Eastsound and its charming shops. If you plan on cooking in the cottage, as we did, you can stop in at the Orcas Island Market in Eastsound which is surprisingly large and comprehensive for a small island market. If we ever have a chance to travel back to the area, we would definitely return to the cottage.

Thank you for taking the time to write this comprehensive review for us. It will help future guests -- pack light, the elfin path to the cottage is about 200 feet (and on an incline). Some say that the path (approach to the cottage) makes the cottage even dearer. One of our guests sent us a picture with a HAIKU: A guest sent this picture with a HAIKU. Beautiful cottage with an incredible view.
A lovely cottage with spectacular views. Quiet, isolated, elegant and incredibly peaceful. The styling, functionality and designing that went into this quaint cottage is very impressive. Everything we’d hope it would be and more. Would highly recommend for two. We’ll be back!

Perfect DREAM of a Cabin
The Isle Dream had everything we wanted for a perfect getaway: quiet, cozy, secluded (yet close to things to do), beautiful view and comfort. The place is clean and well appointed, they even left us a bottle of bubbly and chocolate! The place was a warm respite on a blustery weekend on Orcas.

Sweet and peaceful.
This charming and cozy little place has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. It is definitely small on the inside, so you need to make sure that you really like the person you’re with! Fortunately, my wife is pretty spectacular. (-:
There is a a large deck out the front with nice furniture. Hope for good enough weather to take advantage of it.
The bed is very comfortable. The heat works well and quickly. The view is lovely and the place is private and peaceful. They left us a bottle of bubbly, which was so nice! bring your own water for sure as the water there has a strong sulfur taste.

Sea Dream
We enjoyed the Sea Dream! An hour after getting there we were fortunate to see Orcas swim right by our room. Everything was perfect. They stocked wood for the fireplace, it was great for the evening and mornings. This place was truly a dream and we would high recommend it. The views were incredible.

Great Romantic Getaway
The Isle Dream Cottage truly is a dream come true. A great place to getaway and enjoy life. It being our honeymoon, the owners provided a bottle of champagne and had classical music upon our arrival. The views from the cottage were spectacular. The cabin has plenty of privacy and its own dock to enjoy watching the water. We saw many star fish in the tide pools as well as otters and seals along with many birds. The kitchen is well equipped.

Breath Taking!
Isle Cottage was just the right size for our trip. The views were beautiful and the weather could not have been any more perfect during our visit. We hiked at Mt. Constitution, visited several shops that were open and enjoyed some of the local foods.
We were greeted by a Bald Eagle just off the front porch and had a great boat ride in hopes of seeing an Orca, but saw lots of other marine life.
This cottage is perfect for winding down and the location was great for getting around the whole island.

The coziest little gem with stupendous views
Walking down the mossy path to this cozy cabin sets the mood for a warm, intimate stay with everything you need in one space. This cabin is for couples, and from the moment of arrival with beautifully arranged fresh flowers, a romantic feeling is established. We have stayed here twice and prepared significant meals in the tiny kitchen. The shower is below a skylight revealing the trees above. And then there is the view. Walking out on the large deck, the expansive vista up and down the East Sound, with snow covered mountains in the distance, is utterly breathtaking. Lots of room for outdoor meals in nice weather. Don't miss a visit to the private beach below as well! Highly recommend.

Set on a private hillside with an articulated walk down to a private and stunning waterfront--as the crow flies, just two miles across the water from the Town of Eastsound, Orcas Island. See the twinkling lights of Eastsound in the evening. Best place in town to watch the 4th of July Fireworks!
How to get there
As our visitor's bureau says, getting here is half the fun (though we think the fun you'll have on island is much more than half!). The ferry ride or float plane option (whichever you choose) is an adventure all its own--with some of the most spectacular nature views of the Pacific Northwest.
Our final confirmation letter includes more details about the cottage as well as step by step driving instructions from the ferry landing, airport or water landing spot. We do not recommend electronic navigation devices -- relying on them have got some of our guests Lost.
