This cosy cottage is ideal for a family or a small group. Cradle Cottage features 2 bedrooms comprising of a main bedroom with a queen bed and second bedroom with 3 single beds.
Other features include a spa; log fire; well equipped kitchen including fridge, stove with an oven, microwave, electric fry pan, kettle and toaster, outdoor deck and stunning views of Mount Roland.

An absolutely brilliant cottage
This brilliant and large cottage is the best accommodation we have had on this trip to Tasmania. The cottage is large enough foe a family with two bedrooms and a fold out sofa bed. The roomy kitchen area is well provisioned with both equipment and breakfast. The living area comes complete with a well stocked log fire and a large dining table. The bathroom has a large spa bath. The outside balcony is furnished and is perfect for wildlife spotting at night, we were fortunate to see a Tasmanian Devil walking around. One thing to note is there is on spasmodic mobile reception and no wifi, the perfect reason to sit down and talk or play some games. Overall this cottage is throughly recommended.

About the neighborhood
All the cottages are nestled within more than 4 acres of private forest, and ideally located 15 minutes from Cradle Mountain National Park. The retreat is an oasis of romance, rest and a retreat away from all the busyness of life.
There are four self-contained cottages at Cradle Alpine Retreat. All cottages have a well equipped kitchen, electric blankets, 3 cottages with log fires and 3 cottages with private spa bathrooms, as well as the beautiful views of Mount Roland.
Getting around
There is no public transport and guests will need to utilise own vehicle.
Cradle Alpine Retreat offers easy access to the best of the Cradle Mountain area, activities and attractions. Among many others below are some of the best places worth visiting;
• Mount Roland - It is approximately 5 minute drive from the property
• Leven Canyon - A dramatic canyon with a river twisting and roaring 275 metres below. Its only a 40 minute drive the property
• Mole Creek and King Solomon Caves - approx 30 mins from the property
• Anvers Chocolates is approx 45 mins from the property
• Tasmazia a colourful miniature village within a complex of mazes - 15 minutes from Cradle Alpine Retreat
• Lake Barrington -approx 20 mins from Cradle Alpine Retreat.

How to get there
Cradle Alpine Retreat is located at the junction of Cradle Mountain Road and Cethana Road Moina.
* If you are coming from Cradle Mountain Road (Wilmot) when you get to the intersection of Cethana Road travel just past it and the driveway is the first on your left hand side opposite Lake Gairdner Road .
* If you are coming from Cradle Mountain Road (Cradle Mountain) the driveway is on your right hand side opposite Lake Gairdner Road just before the intersection of Cethana Road.
* If you are coming from Cethana Road (Sheffield) when you get to the end of the road at the intersection of Cradle Mountain Road turn left and the driveway is the first on your left just after you turn opposite Lake Gardner Road.
