There are 2 bathrooms, one ensuite and a family bathroom with shower. Luxury towels are provided. Located to the rear of the Carthouse is a large garden with garden furniture to seat 8 as well as the swimming pool, games room and BBQ area. There is ample free parking available.
Bed linen, heating and electricity are all inclusive. Towels, tea towels and all your essential needs are supplied. Washing, drying and ironing facilities are centrally situated for all the properties.
A collection of three self catering holiday cottages on a dairy farm milking 300 cows daily. All in a tranquil, rural setting with stunning views over meadows, hills and woodlands. The sandy beaches of Cardiganshire and Pembrokeshire and the Wales Coastal Path are close by. An ideal place for families with excellent shared leisure facilities which include:
• The Indoor swimming pool and the hot tub area are closed under the restrictions of the coronavirus. Indoor swimming pool heated at 30c and hot tub constantly heated at 38c, open at all times with no restrictions apart from when we need to clean and check the water.
• Games' room with gym facilities, pool table, table tennis and air hockey.
• Children's play area with a large trampoline, swings and slide situated in the garden.
• Patio with BBQ area situated outside the swimming pool and games' room.
• Two duck ponds complete with a kayak and rowing boat for residents' use.
Weekly Bookings for all properties are from arrival on Saturday at 3.00 pm to 10.00 am Saturday of departure - call now or e-mail us to book your cottage holiday in Wales.
Groceries can be ordered in advance by Tesco direct if required, shops are in nearby Newcastle Emlyn and Carmarthen. Children's cot and high chair are available on request.
Enjoyed a week in The Carthouse. On arrival there was a welcome pack – a plate of Welsh cakes and a jug of milk straight from the cows on the farm. Very clean. Kitchen well equipped with crockery and basic supplies. Eg. Tea, coffee, toilet rolls, etc. Good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. Loved the swimming pool and hot tub. After a day out our little boy couldn’t wait to get back and go for a swim. While others from our group enjoyed playing pool in the games room. Hot tub was relaxing, and a generous size. It was out of action for a day due to a part breaking, but they were quickly onto it and issue resolved. Nicola was very friendly and welcoming, if you needed any help she was there. The laundry facilities are great, i did the holiday washing before going home. Would recommend Morlogws we normally go to a different place each year but would certainly consider returning. There is plenty round about for kids to see and do.

Perfect relaxing cottages
Beautiful accommodation, very clean, spacious and lovely comfy beds. Nicola and Aled very welcoming with welsh cakes upon arrival. The cottage has all you would expect and more, down to the little things like tin foil, kitchen roll, which all makes life easier. The facilities are excellent and we spent hours in the swimming pool, jacuzzi and games room when it was raining, and then messing around in the boats on the duck pond when it was sunny. Would definitely recommend and intend to return in the future.

Lovely stay!

Five friends and I have just spent a wonderful four days at The Cart House. Located on a working dairy farm we were greeted with local cheese, 'real' milk and lovely warm welcome from Nicola. Not only was the location heavenly but the cottage was warm and comfortable, with an open plan kitchen and sitting room which was perfect for our sociable party. The beds were really cozy and made it difficult to get up in the mornings! We all greatly enjoyed using the jacuzzi after dinner and used the games room and pool during the wetter evenings. We managed to squeeze in kayaking, a beach trip and a tour of the botanical gardens of Wales during our weekend, all of which were only a short drive from the Cart House. We'd like to thank Nicola and her husband for their fantastic hospitality and would certainly recommend this beautiful cottage to friends and families looking for a taste of the great Welsh countryside.

Wonderful facilities, great hospitality
I could review any one of our 24 visits to Morlogws staying variously in the Carthouse or Farmhouse with the same 5 stars (or circles!) Each visit has been relaxing and immensely enjoyable (hence the 24 visits!) The facilities, including the pool, hot tub, games room, gardens and the houses themselves are clean and always kept in good condition. Each time we return things have been improved and updated. We always spend a lot of time on around the farm just relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. However we have also enjoyed a whole range of activities available in West Wales. These include woodland and countryside walks around the farm and, on occasion large expeditions of holiday makers to the pub, sailing, sea safaris, crabbing and beach visits, beach riding, farm parks, theme parks and outdoor activities etc etc. The town of Newcastle Emlyn is a traditional farming town and has the added attraction of a castle ruins set in the curve of the river - a beautiful picnic and exploration spot. There are also local rugby and football teams that play regularly. There is loads to do to entertain the whole family, but not much need to leave the farm. Aled and Nicola are always willing to include holidaymakers in the activities of the farm - it is interesting to see how 300 cows are milked! Visit around Easter and you can help to feed the calves - you may even see one being born! Morlogws comes highly recommended - our next 2 visits are already booked!

Excellent - a holiday for all ages, beautiful accommodation, surroundings and loads to do.
This is the 3rd time we have stayed here & once again Nicola & Aled have been superb, providing everything you could ever think of. The accommodation is spacious, clean, tidy and tastefully decorated. The kids are getting older but still found hours of entertainment in the pool, games room, pond or walking the farm dog.
If you starburst out in any direction there is a whole host of things to do & see, including crabbing, beaches, laser quest, horse riding, theme parks, reptile encounter & zip world. There really is something for everyone regardless of age or interests.
Nicola and Aled are always happy to offer information & advice regarding the local area & attractions.
We love this location & accommodation so much, we booked to come back again before we left, which we are already looking forward to.
