So for context, this was a £2.5k/week out of peak season villa in Mallorca, not super prime, sure, but not cheap either. It was the most expensive of the 4 we were choosing between and the alternatives were far bigger and far better presented. We chose this for the view, which was good, but we expected the villa to be at least half decent, and it wasn't. Firstly, it's not a villa, it's a glorified pool house. Tiny, not even basic essentials in the kitchen, the kind of towels you would expect at a youth hostel in a war zone. They must have been about 15 years old. I've used sandpaper that was smoother. Wifi didn't work, the lighting/electricity keeps flickering on and off, no wood supplied for fire, no coal for the BBQ, noisy boiler. No shampoo/shower gel and the whole place smelt musty.
Ok, so clearly problems with the place, this is when the service got really bad. Checked in Thursday night, we messaged on Friday morning about the issues, no response. So I rang Friday afternoon, no one answered but someone messaged to say they couldn't talk and they were just the weekend cover woman who could do absolutely nothing about the issues anyway, but someone would be back in on Monday, or maybe Wednesday!!! Can you imagine, a week's holiday and someone will come back to me to start looking at my problems in 6 days time!!! We were checking out on Thursday!!! The really annoying thing is someone saw my message instantly but even knowing they would be off for 6 days, chose to do nothing about it.
The whole thing was a total joke, you can't run a holiday management company and take 6 days to have someone available to deal with issues. I told them not to both coming back to me in the end as didn't want to waste anymore of my time dealing with them. Oh, and absurd check in process, literally easier to check in for a flights than this villa. They wants cards, multiple IDs for each persons staying and every other piece of information you can think about, the booking in process took about 30 mins of forms. Whole thing was a total joke and as you can see from many similar google reviews, do yourself a favour and book with someone else.
Slogan should be, 5 star prices, 2 star villas, 1 star customer service.
