Everything about our holiday at Arcos de almona was fabulous and the experience summarised by so many other reviews. Lovely hosts javier and family were welcoming, warm, helpful and unobtrusive. My second experience of Arcos de la Almona, previously in 2005 and the place is as beautiful as ever. Extremely well equipped...all facilities we could require. We had a fantastic fortnight at Arcos, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing break. The decoration is of a rustic style, here you will feel very comfortable and private, but at the same time integrated into the local village life. Designed exclusively for 2 people consisting of a double bed and bathroom, with shower. There is a library with a good selection of English books and CDs. Satellite TV included.
Inside there is plenty of space (approx. 85m²). The kitchen is decorated with tiles, expertly handcrafted in Seville and is fully equipped with a vitro-ceramics hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, extractor hood, washing machine, iron and ironing board, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, juicer and mixer. The dining area has a large table and four rustic wooden chairs.

The historic quarter of the town of Frigiliana, and with in it the Mudéjar Quarter, represents a monumental grouping that some authors have named the most popular architectural structure of Arab origin in existence in the province of Málaga. To this among others, is owed the prize received in 1982 of the I Premio Nacional de Embellecimiento de los Pueblos de España ( 1st National Prize for the Embellishment and improvement of the Spanish Towns).
