Carolina's place was exactly as described and pictured. It was also very clean and came with everything that we ever needed to enjoy our stay. Carolina's attention to detail was apparent--from clean linens and towels, to the cooking tools as well as some supply of oil, salt, coffee, etc. good enough for our short stay. The check-in and check-out were both seamless. Carolina and Francesco stopped by to help us feel comfortable, and explained everything about the house and the village. They also made some recommendations for good restaurants around the village--we tried 3 of them and all of them were excellent in their own ways. Only one thing is that a couple of days (and one evening) were challenging without A/C as the temperature soared into 35--I think this place will be simply perfect if she installs A/C or perhaps even a ceiling fan at some point. But it was breezy most of the time especially in the morning and evening, and we survived with the fans that Carolina supplied. And the best feature of the place--the view from the terrace, which was well furnished, was second to none--we enjoyed morning coffee there, and great Chianti wine over the beautiful sunset in the evening. All in all, we enjoyed a stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone who is interested in exploring the beauty of Chianti and Tuscany.
