This caboose is a work of love and every bit is used so that it will be comfortable, fun and efficient. It is perfect for a couple or small family. The interior has been refurbished with western red cedar walls, cherry floors, and the original curved wood ceiling. Throughout the caboose are railroad memorabilia including signal lanterns, pictures of cabooses in action, marker lights and information about the history of cabooses. The bedroom has a double captains bed, custom made by Ohio Amish craftsmen with a memory foam mattress and drawers underneath. The bath has a shower with on demand hot water. In the front galley area there is a 'daybed' and TV, as well as a small kitchen area. This area is rich in history! Take a horse drawn carriage ride through the streets of downtown Lexington.
