We had a lovely 2 day stay at the Stone House. Comfy and romantic, full of history! Kitchen was well stocked, freezer had plenty of ice. Loved the outdoor stone patio in the evenings. Perfect place for VMI events, you can walk to the stadium! Convenient to downtown bars and restaurants and shopping. Great place to see historic homes and...

There is plenty of space, seating, towels, clothes washer, coffee in the cubbard, etc. This cottage has a lovely garden and deck. The upstairs bedroom is spacious, with plenty of beautiful antiques. The house is beautiful; two-foot-thick walls really create a quiet and serene interior. The rate is for 2 people. Add $35 per person per night for additional people. Pets are welcome. Please add $10 per night per pet. I do allow one night strays during the week for $235 per one night stay for two, plus tax. The reason being the cost of cleaning an entire house as opposed to one hotel room,

The Stone House is on Main Street near the Jordans Point Park and VMI North Post and is near the colleges and downtown.. There are abundant unrestricted parking spaces adjacent to the property.. The house is quiet inside it's 2 foot thick walls. There is only short walk down to the park and the trail heads to the Chessie Trail and the Woods Creek Trail and the Jordans Point Park trail.
