Be it horseback riding, the limitless amount of fun that our activities director plans for the children, to the ability to wade in our salt water walk-in pool, there’s something for everyone. We’ve been around since 1984 and since the resort and campground’s inauguration it’s been nonstop fun and excitement to see the smiling faces that both come and leave here. When arriving at our campground, the staff wants you to know that you’re entering a place where you and your family can happily relax and take a breather. We’re a stress-free area; there’s no need to bring your troubles with you on vacation, after all! In that respect, come in, bring the kids, bring the pets, and leap headfirst into all that you can do here. Grab up a fishing pole, head out on one of our pedal boats, and check frustration at the door. We even have an on-site café so you don’t have to venture far to find something to fill your stomach. Just remember, above all, we’re a little touch of the Old West in the east. We offer horseback riding so you can get up in the saddle and feel like you’re right there, in the Old West, for the day. The upstairs master bedroom has a queen size bed, a tv and a full bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. The downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed. Downstairs also has a full bath with a stand up shower. The living room has a queen size pull-out sofa bed, tv, gas fireplace, sliding glass door to the deck; which has a table, chairs and umbrella to enjoy outside dining and the beautiful scenery of the Shenandoah Valley. The full kitchen is furnished with a microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, refrigerator and all kitchenware needed for preparing meals and feeding a family of 6. Each Chalet also has a washer/dryer, a hair dryer, central heating and air conditioning, and all linens needed for a comfortable stay. Linens can be exchanged during the week for a fee; if you’d like linen service please let the office know.

Nice quiet place to stay

I stayed because I had a long stay in Front Royal for business, it was perfect. It had all the accommodations and was much nicer than staying at a hotel. I was even able to do my laundry before coming home. It has a petting zoo, horseback riding and it's just a beautiful area. All the people I encountered were very friendly.
