A most historic property where Meriwether Lewis was born! Just west of Charlottesville and UVa by 4-5 miles, the home has much of its original charm. The QUEEN bedroom suite and private bath are on the first floor and next to the sitting room with a TV. This room leads to the country porch with lovely garden views. A second bedroom is a Double with private bath and its own TV on the second floor. Truly a stay to remember.
Whole House is available for UVA Graduation Weekend May 17-21. Includes Queen bedroom, Double, and two twins. $800/night plus tax and fees.

Whole House - 2019 UVA Graduation
About the neighborhood
Within comfortable driving distance to nearly all that Charlottesville has to offer, including UVA, the Downtown Mall, King Family Vineyards, Monticello, parks, and golf courses.
A car is certainly recommended, the property is outside of walking distance and the scope of public transportation.
How to get there
From the intersection of Rt.29 (Emmet Street) and Rt.250 (Ivy Road), go west on Rt. 250 for about 5 miles to the village of Ivy. Go under the railroad trestle and immediately turn RIGHT onto Rt. 678, Owensville Road. Go .4 miles to 950 on the LEFT which is just past Heiskell Lane and before Locust Hill Drive. Note the stone marker on the left of the driveway before you enter through the metal gate.
