We rented this house to be close to Mount Snow so our boys could spend their vacation snowboarding. The house was as beautiful as described. The rooms were charming and comfortable. The house is located in the mountains, set away from the road for total privacy. The boys found back roads to the ski resort and avoided traffic in Wilmington. It is centrally located to Wimington, Brattleboro and Bennington. All three with great shops and wonderful food. On our way to Brattleboro, we stopped at the Hogback Mountain Gift Shop, with beautiful views and great gifts inside. There were many bests about this rental. Being on 24 acres of land we were able to let the dogs out to roam which they loved. The wood burning fireplace made the living room the central hangout all week. For a historic farmhouse, the bathrooms were updated and modern, the kitchen had all the amenities you would need, a washer and dryer. Luckily, we own two 4 wheel drive vehicles, because without 4 wheel, at minimum all wheel you cannot get up the road leading to the house in the mud or snow. Best family vacation in years!!
