When it’s time to eat, a spacious kitchen overlooking the dining area has everything needed to whip up home-cooked meals. There’s plenty of counter-top space and stainless steel appliances, and a two-seater breakfast bar offers extra space to dig into dinner. To the right of the kitchen, you can snooze comfortably in a queen-size bed in the bright and breezy first bedroom. A spacious 2nd bedroom also has a queen-size bed, plus a 32” flat-screen Smart TV and a hideaway bed (sleeps 3). Outdoors, a deck (shared with the next door unit) offers a sunny spot to sit while overlooking the pool. Both duplexes have access to the pool, as well as to a picnic table and grill for BBQs and alfresco dining. A spiral staircase leads down to the master bedroom, furnished with a queen-size bed and 32” flat-screen TV. Revive and refresh in a stone-tiled en-suite with a garden-style tub, separate walk-in shower, and his-and-hers basin sinks. After a day at the coast, load beachwear and towels in the washer and dryer - situated in the garage and accessible from the master bedroom. This property is registered with the City of South Padre Island Permit No. ***********. THE LOCATION This coastal duplex is a casual 2-minute stroll from the beach (about 2 blocks). Sprawl back on the sand or hit the waves for some of the best surfing on the Texas Gulf Coast. For lessons and water sports gear, drive just 5 minutes to Air Padre Kite boarding. For more ocean adventures, walk 2 minutes to Ultimate Fishing Guides or 4 minutes to Southern Wave Sailing Charters. Feel like cycling the coast? Hire bikes at Wheels on Padre – it’s also right on your doorstep. Local shops and restaurants are within easy strolling distance. BBQ lovers will want to try Smokey Tails, a smokehouse just down the street. Head to The Meatball Cafe for classic Italian pizzas and pastas, grab tables at Montana for burgers and grilled seafood, enjoy outdoor dining on the waterfront deck at Laguna BOB.
