This home offers 4 bedroom and 2 1/2 baths and is brand new! Two of the bedrooms have king size beds and the other two have two twin beds. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. The home is pet friendly and has wireless internet. There is a tropically landscaped community pool and the home also has a charcoal grill. With plenty of room to park your boat, this is the perfect rental for a fisherman's weekend. This is a pet friendly rental. Pet fees are an additional $10.00+tax, per pet, per night. A maximum of 3 pets are allowed.

Love the beach -:- Elgin, TX
Wonderful place to stay
This has been the best place my family has stayed in Port a. We vacation there one to two times a year for an entire week as a family of 10 and as a family of 4. Comfortably fits all. Accommodations are wonderful. Open design, feels like plenty of space. No crowding. Close to the beach (within walking distance), close to the grocery store for stocking up and lots of things to do around the house. Fenced in yard for pets to go out and fenced pool. Our family enjoyed this so much we are going to book it for all our stays in and around Port a. Definitely a 5 star. Management very helpful and always available for any questions you have.

Great house within walking distance of eats and bars!
The house is great for the price and the pool is literally right outside your door. We mostly hung out at the pool since the beach was not very nice during the weekend we stayed.
We had a few issues with towel racks and toilet paper dispensers falling off the walls. One of the outside gate locks was about to fall off as well. We were informed it was $50 fine if we left trash in the house, but the landscapers filled up the trash can outside. We had to get creative in stuffing trash generated by 9 people into that. I let the property management office know all of the issues when we turned in our key. They were apologetic and made notes to have everything addressed.
The place is great for a family, but we had all adults. There is a bunk bed in the laundry room that is a little awkward for that arrangement, but we made due. It was all fine and the rest of the house was perfect for a bunch of friends hanging out for the weekend.

Close quarters
Like many beach houses these 10? Cottages are located close together. The night before we left there was a group of friends occupying three of the cottages, probably 25-30 people. They started their live music concert at 6 and went non stop till 10 when they did cooperate when requested to shut down. If you had small children , as we did, they could hear/avoid sleep with the music. The rental agents were excellent and corrected any function problem promptly. Only suggestion is you might want to bring your own frying pan and mop. The frying pans are awful and shedding their Teflon. The floor is unsealed cement and tends to be dirty in the kitchen area. The " fourth bedroom" is a stretch, more a tiny laundry room with two bunks not suitable for an adult couple.

Property Great! Customer Service - Only FAIR
We loved the house. It was perfect for two families. The pool was great! The kitchen was unbelievably well stocked. I do have complaints about the personnel manning the phones. Each time I called to check on amenities (about three times - one for kitchen utensils, one time for sheets and blankets and one time for electronic capabilities), the person answering the phone never identified herself (just a courtesy), when I asked about the house, she said she didn't know that she wasn't familiar with that property but that they all had blankets, sheets and pillows. When I asked about trash pickup, she said she didn't know, wasn't familiar with the schedule, that she had over 200 properties and didn't know the answer to my questions. Finally, the third time when she said she didn't know I asked her to find me someone who DID KNOW. The first night we didn't have enough cover on the beds so I called the next day to ask where blankets were. Whoever answered the phone said they were usually in the closets, but when I said there were none in the closets, she said she would get back to me but never did, so I called again around 5:00, and the accountant answered, said she didn't know anything about my calling to ask for blankets, but she stopped on her way home from work and brought us blankets (thank you whoever that was). We later found blankets in the trunks at the end of the king beds. My suggestion, have someone answering the phone who really cares about your renters, can answer their questions and doesn't seem "bothered" that you are calling. Familiarize your office people with the houses, where things are, what the schedules are, and generally be more helpful. It would go far in encouraging us to come back.

Our Stay In Port A
I would recommend this property to anyone. the overall stay was wonderful. every thing was in good condition and there was plenty of room for 10.
Only issues that I saw and from what my wife told me was there was not enough toilet tissue or paper towels and the walls in the house are thin and you can hear everything, so if privacy is what your looking for you will not find in this house. Location to town and the pool area are great.

Great Place
Great place, kitchen was roomy, fully stocked and good for cooking for large groups. The pool was small but unoccupied most of the time so we were able to put it to good use. Will definitely be back, location to the beach wasn't an issue and loved the concrete floors so splashes of water weren't a big deal. Decor was modern and place was super clean!

Great family vacation spot
We enjoyed this place a lot. The place was clean and well stocked for a rental. Nice TVs and board games. Nice to have a washer and dryer and access to the pool was great when we got tired of the sand! Wish was closer so we could of walked to the beach but since ya can drive on the beach that wasnt too bad a deal.
