The apartment could not be better located within the resort, within walking distance of the arrival area and underground car parking, ski/sledge from the door, close to a range of amenities including ski school, ski hire, supermarket, restaurants and Aquariaz. This beautiful apartment was ideal for the short romantic 4 day get away with my husband. My personal preference would be to only have 2 people stay in it, but that is not to say that it was suitably equipped for 4, with space to sit and chill on the sofas and dine at the table. It is situated at the centre of the 14 French and Swiss and resorts that together make up the world's largest interanational ski area - The Portes du Soleil. As the highest resort in the region it is snow sure with an average of 8m per year offering views of Lac Leman, Les Dents du Midi, Les Dents Blanches.<BR><BR>Avoriaz is car-free, making it particulalry suitable for families and children.
