Awesome place to stay!
If you'll be in the Marble Falls area, this is the b&b for you. For once, the pictures don't lie. It's situated in the hill country and the views are spectacular; eating out on the deck is a must! The host gave us a little welcome bag with some snacks and handmade soap in it, which was super thoughtful. The kitchen had enough pans and utensils to make a good meal and there's an HEB that's very nice in town, which takes about 20-25 minutes to drive to. Everything was clean and there was a little food in the pantry and some condiments in the fridge so we didn't have to buy everything. The beds were really comfy, but they are tall. The host provided a step stool to help my short self climb up into them, but if you have major mobility issues it's something to be aware of. You can get by without going up the stairs if you need to, since there's a bedroom with a TV, bathroom with shower, kitchen, small dining area, and laundry room all downstairs. Upstairs has the nicer bathroom, though. It's bigger and has a 2 person tub which was super nice, especially after going to Longhorn Caverns and Sweet Berry Farm all day. The shower was also big enough for 2 people, the water pressure was perfect, and the temperature was even. The bathrooms were spotless and had a bunch of extra towels, plus the host stocked little things like pads and stuff in case you forgot to pack something. They had extra pillows in the closet and throws and stuff in case you get cold easily. Even though it's out in the country, there wasn't a single insect to be found in the house, which is not always the case with b&bs. There was also a little welcome book to sign; it was nice to see what previous guests thought of the area and it gave us ideas for things to do and places to go. If we ever go back to Marble Falls, we'll definitely be staying here. Our next stop after this was Corpus. I was excited for the beach, but sad to leave this house...especially considering the next place we stayed. :) You can tell the hosts care about the house; it's not just a money-making opportunity, they want it to feel like a home. It shows, for sure.

About the neighborhood
Serene, quiet, secluded, natural wooded area adjacent to Balcones Wildlife Nature Preserve. There are no neighbors that can see you without binoculars and you can enjoy the privacy since no one can even hear you if you sing or shout to check your echo. You may see some deer sightings and small silhouette of neighbors houses across hill.
Our home is in a wooded area up the hill about 10 minutes to Lago Vista, 20 minutes to Cedar Park and 30 minutes to Austin. For shopping and restaurants, you can go to Lago Vista, Cedar Park or Marble Falls. To go to Marble Falls downtown for groceries and restaurants plus entertainment, make a left at Shaw Rd and a second left at FM 1431. For Lago Vista or Cedar Park, make a right at FM 1431 from Shaw Rd.
Getting around
You can use your car, motorcycle or bicycle to drive around or use your ATV to climb 100 feet from house along driveway to Shaw Rd and back.
Please purchase your grocery essentials like milk, food, bread, etc, from Cedar Park mo or Marble Falls @ Highway 281, before driving to the house.

How to get there
From Austin Airport take State Highway 71 West for 1 mile to US 183 North for 25 miles and Exit FM 1431 towards Cedar Park, turn left at light go for 19 miles on FM 1431 West and take left on Shaw drive, in 350 feet take right at Old Trails Ct down the hill. Turn left at Driveway and park under the trees.
Please purchase your grocery essentials like milk, food, bread, etc, from Cedar Park or Marble Falls @ Highway 281, before driving to the house.
