There is an area outside to sit and enjoy the views and a bbq area with grounds sloping down to the lane where you can park your car. The old village of Corris ,famous for its narrow gauge railway and museum and its beautiful surroundings seems not to have changed over the years and takes you back to another period in time .Once a busy slate mining community but now sleeping .. In Corris you can unwind and enjoy the countryside with endless walks and yet entertainment at hand be it with a pint at the Slaters Arms or a visit to King Arthur's Labyrinth just across the road from us . A short drive towards Talyllyn and its fine lake and you can be challenged to climb to the summit of Cader Idris. Corris is a convenient base to enjoy the historic towns of Machynlleth and Dolgellau and with Tywyn ,Aberdovey and Barmouth offering the pleasures of the seaside not many miles away . We are proud of our cycle trails and boost of some of the finest here in Wales on our doorstep ... So, what ever your holiday angle is ,rest assured there is something here for you in Corris .. Please note that Isygraig is situated on a hill and whilst giving you a grand vista it does mean traversing some 40 steps....not a real challenge but worth mentioning . Lastly... Isygraig welcomes your well behaved pet....More
