Beautiful large condo in a gated community across from the beach. Just minutes away from restaurants, shopping, Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens and other attractions. What makes this condo unique
King bed in master - not many, if any, other condo this size have a full king (it does not fit in most!), washer and dryer in unit, large walk-in closet, high-speed internet and WiFi, pet-friendly complex and hosts (pets require extra deposit), flexible check-in and check-out time, best proximity to Moody Gardens and Schliterbahn, Walmart across the street for convenient shopping and more!

All guests are required to register at the front office and pay a parking fee of $25 per stay, per vehicle. This is HOA requirement and they are collecting parking fee in the office, upon guest arrival.

Great stay by the Ocean
The location of this condo is perfect for families that want to go to the beach everyday. Just across Seawall Dr. the condo faces away from the road and is much quieter. There are several pools to enjoy if the ocean isn't your cup of tea. Everything was very clean and in order when we arrived. Would definitely visit again!

Great location right next to the beach, spacious condo with room for the whole family! Close to Galveston's main seawall attractions as well if the beach is not your forte.

About the neighborhood
Galveston is an island city on the Gulf Coast of Texas. It is known for Moody Gardens, where giant glass pyramids house sharks, monkeys and other animals. Amusement rides and restaurants line Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier on the south shore. The Dawn Condominium complex is a gated extremely safe and private community that offers 2 large swimming pools, hot tub Jacuzzi, and fully equipped gym for all who stay at The Dawn. The property is located across from Babe’s Beach and is close to shopping, restaurants, attractions, the UTMB medical center and all the beauty of Galveston Island.
West side of the island has a bird-rich Galveston Island State Park, with its trails, kayak launches and fishing spots.
Getting around
You can easily walk to the beach located right across the Seawall. If you would like to explore the island we recommend a car or it is also possible to rent a bike (there are several bike rentals located on Seawall Bldv), and enjoy the ride on the beach, and/or along the Seawall.
Stewart Beach and East Beach are on the island’s eastern end. Check out Galveston's official website for current events, attractions, and things to do. There are always festivals and events.

How to get there
The best way to get to the condo from I-45: take the 61st Street/Broadway exit, take a right on 61st street from Broadway (both lanes turn right), take 61st street to Stewart Road and turn right on Stewart Rd, take Stewart to 69th street, turn left onto 69th street (there is not traffic light at the intersection and it comes up quick), follow 69th street almost to the end and turn right into The Dawn Condo before the Valero gas station, after Driftwood Apartments and before Seawall Blvd. The entrance is gated. Vehicle Gate entry code (enter from the side on 69th Street): #4563.
Keep driving straight, almost to the end: the condo is in the building second from the last, on the left. Building 9, unit 911 is on the first floor. Follow entry instructions to enter.
