House Rental
2 bedroom beach house less than 2.5 blocks from the beach. Covered front deck with views of the ocean, sounds of the surf and sea breezes. House includes a fully operating kitchen, washer/dryer, 2 full baths and free parking. December thru February are perfect months to visit the Texas Coast. The temperatures are ideal. The beach is wide open, relaxing to walk on and collect sea shells. No lines at restaurants and area amenities. Just open the doors and let the sea breeze waft through the house. Watch your favorite football team play, then enjoy the deck. Treat yourselves to a relaxing weekend at the beach.

Cozy beach house
It was very nice! We enjoyed getting to relax, the beds are super comfy! The owner checked in with us and made sure we were enjoying our stay.

Excellent place with a great location.
Jim was a great person to work with and has a nice place in a quiet layed back location. The house is comfortable and we enjoyed staying there. Galveston is a nice place to relax and we really enjoyed our vacation.
Staying where we did helped to make our stay more enjoyable.

Loved sitting outside on the porch
A short mother/daughters beach trip after high school graduation. We enjoyed the extra room of the house instead of being in a hotel. The outside porch was great for reading and snacks outside. We did have several issues with various things in the house:not being able to get the dvd to work, and the thermostat went out (AC)on Wed eve. While we were out for the day on Thurs. the owner was able to contact someone to replace it and then we had AC again. I loved the house, but I was disappointed and not able to just completely relax and enjoy my vacation with NO worries.

Thank for your feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed the house. Apologies for the trouble with the thermostat. However, these things are unexpected and I did get it fixed quite quickly. Remember, you're staying at a house and not a hotel room. So, just like your home, things happen. But, I pride myself on responding quickly and I was glad we got the problem remedied quickly. As for the DVD, it's brand new. So, I'm not sure why you had trouble. No reports since you left, but we will look into it. Many thanks! – Jim

Cozy Galveston Beach House
My family of four had a great time staying at this beach house. This place offers lots of amenities including cooking items, board games, two spacious bed rooms and two bathrooms. There was plenty of parking available at the beach and plenty of room for everyone at the beach. The fishing pier was also nice and offered a good sunset view.
I will definitely book this place again, when we return to Galveston. The owner is very helpful and provides a lot of information in regards to local attractions and good places to eat.

Comfortable living by the ocean
A very good location at a good price. Nice pool , playground and neighbor hood. Good places to eat close by and several places close for snacks and drinks. Jim R. was easy to deal with and always in touch. A very nice place for 2 to 4 people.

Great house at the right price!
My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cozy yet roomy beach bungalow. Everything we needed was provided. It was very near the beach and we loved having access to the community pool and the little store. The front porch was awesome! I loved sitting out there in the evenings and Galveston proper and all it's attractions were just a 20 minute drive from us. I would definitely recommend this home!

Excellent Place to stay close to beach
Nice amenities and location. Close walking distance to beach and away from all the traffic of Galveston.

Comfortable family accommodations and walking distance from the beach.
Comfortable family accommodations with a fully stocked kitchen, many spices and basics that can be available for cooking anything on the spot. We decided to enjoy local restaurants ourselves and only cooked breakfast. Our small pet was also welcome and comfortable.

Cozy cottage
The amenities were top notch, comfy beds, two bathrooms and good water pressure for a nice shower. Everything you'll need to cook up some fish after a day on the boat too!the owner Jim was absolutely wonderful to work with and he gave some amazing suggestions for things to do on the island. We made so many memories there and I'm truly thankful for Jim opening his home to me, we will definitely be back soon!!

Cozy Beach House-Perfect Location for a Perfect Get-Away
My husband and I rented this wonderful house for a long weekend getaway and we can't wait to come back! It's super clean and wonderfully decorated in a beach motif and has all the amenities one needs for a comfortable stay. The location is close enough to the beach to walk if you choose, but there is also a public beach parking area right across San Luis Pass Road, if you would rather drive.
The owner, Jim, is a Dream Host! He makes sure that you have everything you need and all your questions are answered to ensure you have a worry free stay. He also offers up many suggestions on where to dine out or shop, locally and in Galveston. We ate at a couple of different places based upon his suggestions and were not disappointed.
I feel like we won the lottery in renting a house for our trip. This is our first time staying at this area in Galveston and we are ready to get back. :)
