Whether you're planning team-building activities, financial meetings, workshops, or simply seeking a space for meaningful discussions and brainstorming, Gathering Oaks Retreat provides a customizable experience tailored to your team's needs.. The property will sleep large groups of up to 50 people in a variety of private resort-style accommodations. There are 19 bedrooms total with private bathrooms, but many rooms have more than one bed. AMAZING PROPERTY! Great location!
What a BEAUTIFUL property! We spent the New Year's weekend at the Gathering Oaks Retreat and I can assure you that WE WILL BE BACK! The little cabins are a perfect combination of rustic & shabby chic! The hospitality was bar none to boot! We were able to take a short cruise in to town to visit Magnolia Market (which was so cool by the way). Thank you for a lovely experience! Looking forward to making many more memories at this property down the road with my family!

Amazing Property
We needed lodging for a Baylor College Graduation we rented 1 tiny house 1 king suite and 1 queen suite, couldn't have met our needs any better very clean ,new wonderful place to relax

Reunion
We had the best time here for a little reunion. The accommodations were cozy, relaxing, and very comfortable!! The new owners have done an outstanding job renovating and restoring this unique property!!

Truly a Magical and Amazing place to stay!!
I had a friends/family reunion there!! You have to experience this place for yourself! If you are near the Waco area you should try it out for yourself! We stayed in the Bridal suite and it was beautiful and very cozy! The entire property is peaceful and quiet and the pool is amazing! I can promise that I will never stay anywhere other than this place if I'm ever in Waco!

Wow! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us! Just so you know, you can always rent out any one room when you visit Waco. You don't have to rent the entire Gathering Oaks Retreat. We have 14 private suites to choose from, but the bridal/luxury suite is definitely our nicest and most luxurious room!! Come again.

We had a fabulous wedding weekend!
The Gathering was the perfect spot for our family to get together for ours son's wedding in Waco. We hosted a beautiful rehearsal dinner in the Gathering House. Then our family from 8 different states enjoyed time together as a big group, at the pool, during walks, in our own rooms and in lawn chairs under the big trees. We had a fabulous weekend were we could be loud with laughter and fun or quiet with an intimate conversation.

The perfect, relaxing, refreshing place for a getaway alone or with a lot of friends!
Gathering Oaks is the perfect, peaceful getaway! I recently held a team retreat there and we all LOVED it. We spent a lot of our time in the Gathering House (which is SO cute!), walking the grounds, and enjoying the camp fire. This is an amazing place for a quiet getaway with your partner or a large group that can still have your own accommodations. I highly, highly recommend and will definitely be back soon!

Gathering under the grove of oaks
A beautiful place to retreat. My daughter and I loved visiting the Gathering Oaks Retreat this past weekend. We stayed in the Luxury Casita that faces the courtyard and the view from every window is spectacular. As I write this review, it takes me back to sitting under the oaks, listening to the crackling fire while watching the leaves fall from the trees on that beautiful fall night. What a wonderful memory of your beautiful place. Thank you Gathering Oaks Retreat! We will return in the very near future.

Perfect Oasis
Gathering Oaks was the perfect place for our family (16) to gather to celebrate our daughter's graduation from Baylor. It was relaxing and such a wonderful gathering place. We highly recommend GOR and hope to be back our selves in the future! Working with the owners was the best, easy and very responsive!

Authentic Texas Experience!
Wow! This place is amazing!
We stayed a few nights in Tiny House #1, which was actually quiet roomy and cozy. The accommodations are top flight, clean and comfy. We were here just to rest and relax, but it's clearly a great place for retreats, weddings, events. All with the added experience of being Authentic Texas!

Charming, beautifully landscaped, loads of big windows, recreational games, great group casual dining area, big kitchen.
Truly an exceptional setting in the gorgeous oaks and many lovely flowerbeds, with great attention to detail, cleanliness and beauty.
Outdoor party lights let the party continue after dark, including the several fire pits.
The kids enjoyed the pool and many games, and we had plenty of seating at mealtimes in the ample kitchen.
The walking trails at the back of the property and the pond at the front, complete with fountain, and lighted grounds provide easy access to areas to sit and reflect.
The entire family will enjoy it.
