It was designed by an accessibility specialist so it is handicapped accessible but the outside ramp doesn't meet current ADA guidelines. It has one bedroom, one bath, living room, kitchen, laundry room and back screen porch. The kitchen has custom hickory cabinets and is stocked with coffee filters, few spices, etc. The floors are hardwood (Maple) and ceramic tile. It Is decorated with black bears and other wildlife decor. It has a gas fireplace. You can take a morning walk in private or just watch the wildlife from the screen porch.

Not private or secluded
Renters beware, this cabin is not private or secluded as the description and images may appear. It may be built on 10 acres, but there are multiple renters on this site. This is not 10 acres you can explore. You are on a small and narrow ridge of land. In addition to Hanging in There there are four other rentals on the site in plain view. There is also a small "bakery" and two, maybe three storage sheds along with construction equipment. When you arrive at the bottom of the hill you may question if you are going the right way because it is a very steep and narrow road (paved years ago) only allowing room for one car at a time. There is no guardrail. Oh, and there is a blind spot too halfway. It impossible to see oncoming traffic.
The photos of the cabin are from 2015 when the cabin was built and are no longer current. We looked forward to using the picnic table as pictured and it is no longer there. Instead you get a view of a pop-up camper. The inside is showing signs of wear. The laminate countertop is taped down, the kitchen sink drain has peeling paint, the frying pan we planned to use to make breakfast was scratched up to the point of being unusable and the ceiling fan in the bedroom screams like a siren and will wake you up. WiFi is spotty at best. Many other reviewers state this too. The TV picks up one station and goes in and out. Laundry was left in the dryer and a rug was draped over the sink. Attention to detail is missing.
We planned to use the both the hot tub and fireplace. It was quickly obvious that both were not inspected and confirmed working 100% prior to our arrival. The fireplace had been turned off completely requiring a service call the next day. Three days later the fan stopped working with it again. The hot tub is located on the back porch with little to no lighting and if you have inclement weather you will have to brave it since there is no overhang or shelter to keep you from the elements. Other than slippery plastic steps there is nothing for you to hold on to or brace yourself when entering and exiting except for the cabin itself. Only a small section of the jets worked when we initially turned it on. This required another service call. Both of these issues (fireplace & hot tub) could have easily been taken care of in advance with proper inspection and planning. While texting the host for both of these issues she never once apologized for either incident acknowledging that this is an inconvenience for us. What we received were excuses. The host makes you feel like she is doing you a favor for allowing you to stay with them.
Do yourself a favor and check multiple travel sites for reviews. If after ours and other reviews you still decide to go the budget route and risk staying here; don't worry you will not be alone on the hill. Just step out on to the front porch and you will have plenty of neighbors.

Heaven!
My husband and I spent 4 amazing days at this little piece of heaven! This beautiful little cabin was the perfect place to relax and enjoy ourselves. The cabin is far enough from town to enjoy the peaceful surroundings but close enough to enjoy the food and shopping. The cabin was super clean, quiet, and private! It was equipped with all the comforts of home like washer and dryer, dishwasher, stove ect. The bed was comfortable, and the hot tub at the end of a long day was amazing! The landlord Pam was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves! We will definitely be back!

Time to Reconnect
Great place to rest, relax, and reconnect away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Loved the privacy and time to be alone with each other. Definitely a cabin in the woods, but still close to great things to do and places to eat. My husband and I love that the space was ours and ours alone.

Getting around
There is a steep hill that is paved coming to the cabin. I have had literally any and every kind of vehicle and motorcycles to come up the hill with no problems. A four wheel drive isn't necessary but may come in handy when raining but front wheel drive vehicles do great too.
