Very wooded and for the most part quite and peaceful. You do have cabins around you but from the back porch you only see the one on the hill. Does need new comforters in the master and a new futon in the living room due to stains. But other than that this is a peaceful retreat.

Wow! We have rented these kind of properties in the past, and this was the best EVER!!! We had 3 adults and 5 kids, and it was perfect for our family. First of all, and most importantly, the kitchen was stocked! They had everything we needed, and in some cases, doubles and triplicates. The only thing we needed was a crock pot, but tons of pots, pans, dishes, wine glasses, paper towels, knives, dishwashing liquid and detergent. Also, plenty of toilet paper and towels, but bring your own kleenex. There is an ice maker and a washer and dryer, bring your detergent. The hot tub rocks, and stayed pretty hot, even though it was in the 30's outside. One shower/tub had jets, but we just used the hot tub because it was so nice. Tons of balconies with rockers, a picnic table, and a charcoal grill, with utensils!!! There was a vacuum and a broom. Bring beach towels and towels for the kitchen. And fyi, the upstairs gets way hotter than the downstairs. They were freezing down there, so if coming in the winter, bring blankets, lol. Seriously, this was the best rental we've ever had!! Only complaints were minor, and include super hard bed in master upstairs, and drive was tricky, as it was gravel and full of big pot holes. But we were super happy with our stay!!!

The location was ideal, the fireplace and view were wonderful. The bed sheets were clean, comforters visibly dirty. I washed all linens before we used them. The property is a bit old. One of the rocking chairs collapsed under my son because the wood was so rotten. The property had a great cabin like feel upstairs and a great porch for the kids to run around on.

The wife and I have stayed with american Patriot before. This time we took the whole family,9 of us Including 3 granddaughters under 4 years old. They loved the cabin and shows and the aquarium. We will use american again.

I really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was away from all the hustle and bustle of the tourist area, although not too far of a driving distance. We would be glad to return to this cabin again. Love the layout of the cabin is well. It felt like a place I would love to call "Home."

cabin is deep inside pigeon forge.It is maintained in good condition.Anybody who likes remote place this is one of the very good place for them.

Cabin is beautiful and fully equipped. Enjoyed and created family memories that will last a lifetime. However, very far away and difficulties locating with directions provided.

This cabin definitely provides a quiet country or "wildlife" setting, rustic and very spacious. It was great to wake up and sit on the back porch, listening to birds and other animals while enjoying your favorite morning beverage. Nicely furnished, very comfortable. Location is just far enough away from town. What can I say - I would do it again, same place in a heartbeat! The driveway is a bit steep and graveled and some ruts were deep from washout - this is the only thing I can complain about and not really complaining as you can get around them. My husband and I stayed at this cabin over the weekend and wished we could have stayed longer! The cabin was cozy with everything needed and had a lovely view. We would recommend it to anyone for a romantic getaway!
