This cabin was located right on the outskirts of Pigeon Forge. We could not see the city from our cabin but everything was very close. The cabin was very clean and equiped so that we could enjoy quiet meals in the evenings after a hot...More

About the neighborhood
We decided to purchase this property because it is an authentic hand hewn log cabin in a great location, and was meticulously maintained by the previous owners. In fact, the cabin had over 200 five star reviews under the last owners that could not be conveyed with the change of ownership on Trip Advisor. I will be more than happy to provide them upon request.
Getting around
The cabin sits in the perfect location to easily access all of the area attractions. Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, and The National Park are all just minutes away. If you're tired of getting stuck in Gatlinburg traffic to access the park, try taking a nice, scenic drive from the cabin to Wears Valley, and access the park through Metcalf Bottoms. It's much easier to get to Cades Cove and popular hiking trails using this route as well. There is also easy access to tubing and kayaking from the cabin, as well as two mountain coasters nearby.
How to get there
Location, location, location. This cabin is unique in that it gives you a feeling of being deep in the mountains, while being only 2 - 3 miles from the center of the Parkway in Pigeon Forge. Dollywood, and all the attractions are just a few miles away and easily accessible. The drive up the mountain is easy, and the road is wide enough for two cars. Parking is easy as well, with plenty of room to turn around. Enjoy the seasonal views of the lights of Pigeon Forge below as you relax in the hot tub after another great day in the Smokies!
