New years in Nashville
This is just as described. Nice unit had plenty of room, clean, quiet. Winter weather kept using outside to a minimum. Near opry land, shopping, restaurants away from lower Broadway. Airport, Broadway short Uber/lyft ride to go to. This is our 3rd trip to Nashville this is tops should we go again

Wonderful pace to stay
If you would rather not stay in yet another hotel, this is the place for you!
This chalet style home is everything you are looking for and more! It is very clean, very well stocked, very comfortable, very nicely decorated. It truly is like a home away from home! It is very close to downtown so you can get to anything, but at the end of your day, you leave all the noise and hustle and bustle behind and come back to the good ole peace and quiet!!
The owners are very accommodating, and will help you with very good suggestions of places to see, and places to dine at!
We enjoyed our stay here very much, and can’t wait until we can stay here again!

Beautiful home Great location
We loved the view from both down stairs and up stairs. We looked over a small forest area that goes down to a river. We saw lots of birds and had turkeys in the yard a few days. This place is very quiet and relaxing. We went to Nashville for a convention but added a week on to enjoy the city. We saw everything so it was really nice to go back to home away from home every night. The home is stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals and the bathroom towels are nice and soft. We rented a car and found this location central and near sites we wanted to see. We're state park goers and there are several near by. My favorite was Cedars of Lebanon. It was peaceful and had tons of birds. We also made it to Land between the lakes national park in Kentucky and it was worth the drive. We visited Andrew Jackson's home and Belle Meade and both are filled with history. Make sure you do the free wine tasting after the Belle Meade tour, they really have some wonderful dessert wine. As you can tell we did a lot and it was nice to come home and get away from the hustle. We were sad to have to go and have decided after staying in such a nice place we won't do hotels anymore. Thanks Doug for meeting us when we arrived even though it was late and cold out. We got the Prince's hot chicken(boy was it hot!), and ate at the Irish pub McNamara's(my favorite). You have a great setup and we would definitely stay again.

Nashville stay
We absolutely loved our stay. The house is absolutely beautiful. It is very nice and clean. Decorated beautifully. We would recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in Nashville. We will be planning another visit!

Absolutely perfect
We are so grateful to have found this accommodation. Doug came out into the driveway when we arrived to welcome us and gave us some helpful hints about our week stay in Nashville. Two Rivers Retreat is exactly as the pictures show, comfortable, nicely and warmly decorated, clean, lots of towels, a kitchen that is not missing one thing and bonus, a coffee station. We spent quite a bit of time in the screened in porch, enjoying the many, many birds coming to the feeders. We can’t thank Darolyn and Doug enough and would highly recommend to family and friends.

Anniversary Trip
We stayed at the Retreat at Two Rivers for 3 nights to celebrate our anniversary. It was the perfect place for us - quiet, cozy, with a beautiful view out the floor to ceiling windows. My husband particularly enjoyed watching the wild turkeys. They looked like Butterballs to us, as we suspect the entire neighborhood feeds them.
Doug and Darolyn could not have been nicer. They even brought us a cake for our anniversary!
We highly recommend this lovely place.

Great lil home away from home
The chalet was very cozy and welcoming. It is conveniently located close to Opry Mills and Gaylord. Home owners are very nice and accommodating. The chalet was clean and had plenty of room for our large party. Will stay again

Wonderful Stay at the Retreat at 2 Rivers!
The property is beautiful, charmingly decorated, and appointed with more than everything you could need. It feels like a home, not a rental property. Near Opry Mills Mall and the Grand Ole Opry and a short Lyft ride to the different attractions. Nashville is a bigger city and more spread out than we expected so the home is a great jumping off location. Doug and Darolyn were wonderful hosts and we truly enjoyed our stay. They the couldn't have been more accomodating and helpful. Doug recommended McNamara's Irish Pub and Restaurant and it was fun and the food was great. We are so looking forward to our next visit!

There is so much to see and do in Nashville and it's one of the reasons that we love to make recommendations of hidden gems with both our in person suggestions and our Electronic Guestbook that we send out. This area of Nashville has plenty to offer with the biggest Mall in Tennessee and lots of restaurants and things to do. It can also be a quiet relaxing time if that is what you like.
Quiet hours are between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. Please respect the quiet neighborhood and neighbors.
We are a short distance from the airport and there is a train station down the road that goes into Nashville in the mornings and evenings. We are a short cab or Uber ride to the Honky Tonks and happenings downtown as well.
Nashville has the highest Hotel rates in the nation. We are less than half as much and you get so much more with the Retreat at Two Rivers!
Getting around
Although we are only a 10-15 minute drive from Downtown Nashville, we recommend either Lyft or Uber as it as inexpensive as downtown parking and super easy to get around.
