We were blown away with heavenly retreat. Certainly lives up to its name..Very romantic, relaxing, peaceful.Lots of Wildlife in the neighbourhood and at your doorstep..(deer's , roos ,wallabies, parrots.) Loved the night walks.. Magnificent place to stay - a haven of peace and quiet in the bush with lots of wildlife around. Beautifully set out for relaxation - the view of the bush from the bed at dawn just perfect. Waking up to the sounds of the wildlife especially the Kookaburras makes the day so special. Easy to use kitchen and very functional and highly recommended for any couple wanting to get away and stay in the Grampians. And cannot forget having a champagne in the spa - perfection and the name is so appropriate

Beautiful house with privacy from the spa; even with all the houses nearby. Great bush views and very comfortable bed. Great location and only a short walk in to town. Highly recommended

We stayed in July 2020, between COVID19 lockdowns and this cottage was just bliss. We stayed 3 nights which could have been a lot longer had we known how comfortable we were going to be. We were close enough to walk into town (a good walk and uphill nearing the cottage) but far enough from the Main Street to be peaceful and private. The cottage is beautifully decorated, clean and very well appointed. The bed was comfy and cosy and the bath! Did I mention the bath?!?! Wow, so relaxing and room for 2 ;-) We will definitely return to stay at Heavenly Retreat as there is so much more to explore in the beautiful Grampians region. Thank you Louise

Lovely self contained accommodation. Great bush setting that was peaceful and private. Wood fire was an added bonus and lots of cockatoos waiting to be hand fed. Louise was a great host who was very accommodating and very easy to communicate with!!!

We loved our two night stay at the Heavenly Retreat it was just what we needed. Given restrictions with travel in place, Halls Gap was an excellent spot to relax and unwind. The house was beautifully presented, with the fire ready to be lit providing a nice cosy feeling! After a day of exploring walking tracks, the spa was a perfect way to end the day! We loved this place, walking distance from Halls Gap and nestled among the trees! Halls Gap is a special place, with plenty to do. We took walks every day and climbed two peaks without having to use the car. Loved the fireplace, champagne and chocolate, and the spa (with some mineral salts) was so relaxing after a hard day's climb. We would definitely stay here again!

What a location! This place is so beautiful, set just back off the main road through halls gap so you feel like there is no one else around! But a quick walk or drive to the main street and you have access to some great little cafes and eateries. Also easy access to all the best hiking trails and roads that lead to the stunning lookouts. The food voucher, champagne and chocolates included were also a great bonus. Was super excited to have kangaroos all around us and cockatoos coming to visit on the balcony each day. Great cooking facilities too so you can stay in, King size bed and awesome spa bath. Have recommended to lots of friends!

Such a dream to be able to have the fire on sit in the spa bath and just soak in each others company and atmosphere of the lovely Halls Gap. The appliances made easy to never have to leave and the cooking facilities for the nights in were what we love. THE BED...… AMAZING!!!! We had the best few days and nights away from everything we have going on at home. Everything was really great! We loved all the wildlife each morning and night. The spa was so relaxing too!
