There is a double sofa-bed in the front room which can accommodate an extra two people (charged at an extra 10% of the total rental price). Open plan living room with comfy sofas and chairs in the sitting room flat screen TV and DVD, dining table and chairs to one side, lovely view across the fields to the estuary. The kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge and a 3 drawer freezer. A communal library full of books, DVDs, table games and local information is open to all guests 24/7. A separate games room has a pool table, table football and darts. There is something to keep everyone happy. We are graded Green Tourism SILVER and are going for GOLD!. Hot water is heated by solar energy combined with an Airsource system, with a reed bed system that takes away the waste water. Spacious Cottage

Swan Cottage had lovely spacious bedrooms and good living space. The sofas were really comfy and under-floor heating kept the cottage warm. Dave was very helpful and friendly and provided doggy towels for our muddy Springers (rained constantly during our weekend break)! Lovely views from the cottage and we liked the peace and quiet - just sheep and cows nearby. One down-side, we found the bed in the master bedroom too hard, so sleep was not the best. May suit those who prefer a very firm mattress though.

Everything we expected... and more!

We loved Glan Morfa. Our cottage was spacious, tastefully decorated and had all the appliances and kitchen items needed for a short stay. But what is really special about the place is what awaits you when you step outside. The nature walks on Glan Morfa surrounding fields were simply beautiful. And Marta and Dave go the extra mile to make sure that you enjoy your stay: on the night of our arrival they light a fire outdoors so our kids could have roasted marshmallows under the stars (they still talk about this after two weeks!). We will definitely be back.

The holiday cottages at Glan Morfa can be found nestling in a sprawling 37 acre country park situated in the small, quiet village of Llangaffo in South West Anglesey. The village has a shop with all the essentials. <BR>This corner of the island not only boasts a unique heritage but also is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. <BR>This family run venture is perfectly situated for either fabulous coastal or forest walks (Newborough Forest is a 5 minute drive), cycling tours, exciting water sports or just simply relaxing on award-winning clean, safe beaches. <BR>The country park comprises of agricultural land that borders onto marshland. Several paths lead through the park, which has been carefully restored to its natural beauty and habitat. Two new lakes form part of the marshland where numerous species of birds, animals and other wildlife can be seen.

How to get there

Turn off the A55 expressway at Junction 7 and travel through the village of Gaerwen along the A5 road. On entering the village of Pentre Berw turn left onto the B4421 road and travel towards Llangaffo. Upon leaving the village take the second entrance on the right. This will lead to the accommodation complex via a farm lane.
