This very cosy one bed roomed cottage a winner of Trip Advisors certificate of excellence is attached to the owners house and is nestling on the edge of Talybont woods. The cottage has all you will need for your stay and more, the living room is equipped with a log burner for those chilly nights, comfy reclining sofa and easy chair,freest TV, DVD player and an iPod dock and wifi internet access. The diner conservatory looks out on the beautiful garden ideal for bird and squirrel watching over breakfast.

A king sized fourposter awaits you upstairs along with an adjoining shower room for your comfort. Your private outdoor Jacuzzi hot tub is made for stargazing whatever the weather and there are BBQ facilities for your further enjoyment, all making the cottage an ideal romantic getaway for couples .

If you want somewhere cosy and quiet to relax then we highly recommend this cottage. It’s a short walk from beaches, restaurants and countryside and an even shorter walk to the hot tub. This was our second visit and we’ve loved every minute.

Myself and my boyfriend had such a lovely stay at Llwyn Ynn cottage last week. The cottage is beautiful, and all the little touches (such as welsh cakes ready for breakfast, and wine chilling in he fridge) were much appreciated after a long drive. The owner, Linda, is friendly and approachable, and always keen to suggest walks or places to...

About the neighborhood
Barmouth - William Wordsworth said “With a fine sea view in front, the mountains behind, the glorious estuary running eight miles inland and Cadair Idris within compass of a days walk, Barmouth can always hold its own against any rival.”
Harlech castle a World Heritage Site and the home of the Royal St Davids golf club.
Bala Lake is the largest natural lake in Wales now the home of lots of water sports including white water rafting.
So many amazing places to visit in this land of myth and legend you will be spoilt for choice, wonderful eateries on the doorstep as well so don't hesitate just book.
Getting around
Many people visit for the easy access to the scenic railways. One runs along the coast from Aberdovey to Pwhelli and the station is a few hundred yards from the cottage. Steam trains travel right through Snowdonia, one recent addition being the Highland railway.
Ffestiniog Railway - The railway is about 13.5 miles long and runs from the harbour at Porthmadog to the Slate mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, travelling through some spectacular scenery.
Bikes can be hired in Barmouth or Coed-y-brenin. The single-track mountain biking at Coed-y-Brenin has been selected as one of the worlds greatest adventures in the latest Lonely Planet Great Adventures book.

From the south (Barmouth) take the A496 north for 4 miles to the village of Talybont. go over the narrow bridge and turn right opposite Tonys Italian Restaurant ,into Llwyn ynn. Go up the hill past a left turn and opposite the next left turn is a large wooden gate go through the gate down the track to Llwyn ynn cottage.
From the north (Harlech) take the A496 south for 6 miles. On entering Talybont turn left opposite Tony's Italian into Llwyn ynn. Go up the hill past a left turn and opposite the next left turn is a large wooden gate go through the gate down the track to Llwyn ynn cottage.
