This is a place to unwind. More than a holiday cottage. Up until early June if this year it was my home. I hope that it will feel like home to you.

Located amongst farm land on the Llyn Peninsula this converted cattle barn seems miles away from anywhere but within a short distance of many tourist sites and the beautiful sandy beaches of the north Wales coast. Enjoy the stunning views across the green fields to the mountains. Sheep and cattle graze lazily in the fields next to the cottage whilst the Buzzards ride the thermals above. The wildlife wander past the door of the cottage and Wrens and other small birds often perch on the window frames. Tawny Owls nest in the old tree in the carpark and can be heard hooting around midnight. Stand at the front of the cottage at dusk to see the bats...

Off the beaten track this cottage is quietly secluded, there is a lovely veranda across the front where we sat with the evening glass of wine and watched the setting sun. I loved the 'crog loft' so cosy and warm and ideal for teenagers to...More

Glasfryn ( 10 mins drive ) Pleasure Park for bowling and much more.

Pwllheli town ( 10mins drive ) for shops, cinema, harbour and eateries.

Bangor city ( 40 mins drive ) for theatre and more shops.

Getting around
Pwllheli has a mainline train station and a national/local bus station.

The Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway ( steam train ) runs from Porthmadog to Caernarfon. A wonderful way to see north Wales. Spend a whole day on it.

Private hire vehicles also operate in the area.

Railway: Pwllheli: 2.5 mi
Please note that the farm track is unsuitable for low slung vehicles due to a slightly raised centre area. Bikers are welcome but you may wish to consider the track surface which can be dry and lose in summer and muddy in winter.
