Nestling on the private Glasfryn Estate on the Llyn Peninsular, Pantymoeliad has jbeen lovingly renovated to an exceptionally high standard. The spacious entrance hall is full of light and leads into the Living Room with squishy caramel leather sofas and high back comfortable armchairs. The original wooden fireplace is the centre of the stage and we do provide our own logs for the woodburning stove. The floors are of local slate and compliment the furnishings. And the views! Windows on all sides look out onto the gardens. The spacious kitchen/diner has slate floors, high pale wood ceilings and a huge oak refectory table with seating for 8 and, of course, lots of Portmeirion crockery. Pantymoeliad nestles on the private Glasfryn Estate in an area of outstanding beauty. Surrounded by open fields and woodlands, this lovely house offers total seclusion.This was the family home of Clough Williams-Ellis who of course designed Portmeirion.

On the edge of Snowdonia, Pantymoeliad is the perfect location for exploring this lovely area. Snowdon is only a short drive away - take the little train to the summit and have a cuppa whilst enjoying the breathtaking views.

Beaches, beaches, beaches - with over 100 miles of coastline, where to start.. Criccieth,; Porth Dinllaen; Llanbedrog with it's line of pretty beach huts; Black Rock Sands: You are spoiled for choice!
We also own Glasfryn Parc - one of North Wales' Top Ten Days out

Railway: Porthmadog: 6.2 mi
Ferry: Holyhead: 37.3 mi
Directions from Manchester, Liverpool. Via M56,

A55 Expressway from Chester, 2nd Bangor exit for Caernarfon, out of Carenarfon head for Pwllheli A499 15 miles exactly from Caernarfon, you will come through the village of Llanaelhaearn, 1.5 miles after a very straight section turn left for Pencaenewydd and Ancient monument.

Then follow directions to cottages below.

Directions from the London and the south. Via M1, M40 and M5 all lead into the M6 at Birmingham, North of Birmingham take the M54 for Telford. This feeds into the A5 for Shrewsbury, Llangollen and Corwen. 2nd set of lights after Corwen turn left A494 for the Bala. On entering Bala turn right for A4212 until you come to the T Junction with A470 at Trawsfynydd. Turn Right here and head for A487 Portmadog and Criccieth 2...
