The gardens surround these private cottages which are in a wonderful and safe place for children to play and explore. Each cottage is unique with it's own characteristics from different periods from history. The Grove veranda overlooks the garden and enjoys the afternoon sun, the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down. Foot paths from your door take through the woodland and garden terraces surrounding your cottage. This traditional country cottage offers a relaxing setting, with wonderful views from the garden over rolling farmland, this cottage is the perfect retreat.One pet welcome at an extra charge. The Grove is part of a group of five cottages that have complete privacy from each other and surround by a five acre garden.

Quiet and off the beaten track. Nearer to Machynlleth than Dolgellau. Basic facilities. Washing machine facilities were not explicitly advertised before booking. Facilities are at a cost and not located in the cottage. Heating not particularly adequate. Not enough instructions/user guides, with minimal guidance on handover of keys.

Important if you are using a GPS please look for the white sign at the end of the road saying Family Holiday Cottages as it can take you to the farm next door. From Newtown<BR><BR>If you are coming from West on the A470 from Newtown, at Cemmaes Road round-a-bout, take the A470 to Dolgellau. You come to Cemmaes Village. Go through the village and half a mile past the village, you will cross a bridge. Past the bridge by 100 yards you will see an opening before a large Wellingtonia tree on the right hand side.
