Beautifully restored Shepherd's Hut which sleeps 2 persons (can be adapted to 1 double or 2 single on expensive and very comfortable Futon beds. In a separate annex - a shower, handbasin & toilet unit together with a kitchen - all for the sole use of the 2 guests. Crockery, cooking utensils, electric kettle & toaster provided in the Hut. Lockable storage area with fridge under veranda.

The Hut is ideally positioned in a tranquil and picturesque valley on the outskirts of the historic village of Llanddewi Brefi leading up to the scenic Cambrian Mountain Range and Llyn Brianne. We are a youngish couple who had yet to visit Wales and booked with John and Mary last minute for the bank holiday weekend stay. We wanted to experience the picturesque mountains and valleys we had seen photographs of online and also visit the beaches....More

What a wonderful place! John and Mary were excellent hosts. We were greeted by an idyllic scene , peaceful atmosphere ; best place to relax close to nature .We would love to visit again .

Farhana and her husband were model guests and we thoroughly enjoyed their company. They left the hut and the annex spotlessly clean. We could not have wished for better guests ad look forward to meeting up again, possibly later on in the season.

About the neighborhood
Located at the base of the Cambrian / Elennydd mountains which provide some lovely relaxing walks along footpaths and open mountains. Well surfaced mountain roads for car journeys which will take you along scenic routes and many places of interest.
Local shop and two pubs within a quarter of a mile of the site plus further amenities offered at Tregaron some three miles away.
Getting around
Ideally, you should rely on your own transport which will give you the scope to explore areas which are way beyond the beaten track. You can travel for miles without seeing another soul. On the other hand, you can travel to seaside towns and enjoy sandy beaches or go on a boat, dolphin watching etc.
