This terraced cottage dates back to 1749. It has been tastefully renovated and furnished to a very high standard. This fabulous self catering accommodation consisting of: living room, dining area, kitchen and bathroom with separate shower located on the ground floor. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms with sea views and a twin room overlooking the well stocked tiered garden. On the first floor there is also a small play room and a shower room/W.C..

The lounge is situated on the ground floor having a pleasant outlook over Loch Ryan. It had everything needed for a family not forgetting the generous welcome pack. The weather was awful but we just got on with it. Would go again. Reds.

Stranraer town centre is attractive and bustling, and while it helps to see it on a sunny day, the whites and bright colours of many of the buildings make it brighter in any light.

Created a Burgh of Barony in 1596 and a Royal Burgh in 1617, Stranraer is a former busy ferry port with many a tale to tell.

Stranraer has always had close links with Ireland due to its proximity. Day trips across the Irish Sea are rich and varied, visit Belfast's fabulous city centre or take a trip up the Antrim Coast to the Giant's Causeway. The sheltered waters of Loch Ryan providing a safe harbour and a marina is currently being developed. This is located approximately 400 metres from Sky Cottage.
