Fabulous apartment in a magnificent setting
Couldn't have asked for more from this short break. Perfect apartment, modern, tasteful and well equipped but with the added attraction of being part of such a beautiful and historic building. We joked about staying in a wing of Hogwarts! The flat was very comfortable and prepared perfectly for our arrival and Julie, who met us, was efficient and thorough in her welcome. We chose the location because it was inbetween Glasgow and St Andrews where our two older kids are studying, and we were able to reach both places within about 45 minutes. The location is quiet and beautiful, with Dollar nearby for any small-scale shopping that's needed. The grounds themselves were lovely to walk in on a sunny Autumn morning. We would book here again in a heartbeat.

Immaculate, welcoming stay in relaxing surroundings.
I was delighted to have stayed at 9 The Mansion House. The housekeeper extended us a warm welcome. The flat is well appointed, well maintained and scrupulously clean.

Beautiful
We were at the Mansions for a wedding as we visit Frequently and have to say it was the nicest place and so clean we have ever stayed. Everything you need and to a high standard. Jan was helpful and lovely lady. We will return. Loved it!

Really, lovely comfortable high end accommodation.
Stayed here for 3 nights, easy to find and once we got unloaded and settled in it was just incredibly peaceful and very comfortable. Lovely surroundings outside for a walk too. There were a lot of useful condiments etc in the kitchen cupboards which just makes such a difference when you are self catering and you flew to Scotland. Very clean and tidy everywhere, beds incredibly comfy. The small town of Dollar just a few short minutes in the car is a complete delight and the amazing castle overlooking the town is a must visit. We had a great time . Highly recommended. 👍😀

Why not stay in a castle!
The Manor House to say the least is great. Unit 9 is all on one floor with 2 large bedrooms and 2 baths; one ensuite. The unit has a large well stocked kitchen and very nice dining and living area. The photos on the TripAdvisor site to not do this place justice in my opinion. The grounds are very well maintained; the area of Dollarbeg is very upscale as the homes located here are new, large, and undoubtedly expensive. The overall location is very easy access to Stirling, Edinburgh, Falkirk, St. Andrews, and even Loch Ness. You will love every minute you stay here and wish you didn't have to leave when you stay is up.

Un cadre sorti tout droit d un comte de fée. Une location d une propreté incroyable. Dans un appartement très classe. Un accueil chaleureux. Bref nous recommanderons ce site... Sa's compter sur les écossais qui aiment tellement les français... Merci encore... Et vive les champion du monde !

Lovely and modern
Our second time of staying at this lovely quiet place. We were greeted on arrival and given a delicious home made cake and shortbread, which went down a treat. Will definitely book again if available.

Excellent accommodation
We stayed here over Christmas. From the meet and and greet on arrival to the quality of the property, we could find no fault. It literally felt like home as soon as you walked through the door. Spacious, clean, comfortable and warm. The area is very attractive. With plenty of local amenities. We look forward to returning in the future.

Confortable castle apartment

an excellent place to stay
dollar stifling dunfernline St. Andrews fall irk wheel all excellent places to visit. the apartment was everything you could wish for better than the pictures and words. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

How to get there
Car essential, private parking area for several cars located in the grounds adjacent to the apartment. Ground floor location with easy mobility access into the apartment.The post code is FK14 7LF but as it is a fairly new development it is not recognised on all SATNAVs so here are a few extra directions to guide you:From the south, cross the new Clackmannanshire bridge and head for the A977 going towards Kinross. After approx 5 miles take left turning to Dollar on the B913 and then turn left again after approx 500 yds onto the B9140 signposted Fishcross/Coalsnaughton. After another 500yds over the top of the short hill you will find the entrance to the Dollarbeg Estate on your right (stone wall on either side of the entrance with mosaic patterns). Don't confuse with the first large house with a gated drive which is a separate property! On entering the estate, bear right down the hill past the detached houses. At far end of the centre grassed oval you will find a narrow tarmac road (between houses) leading down to the Castle. Ignore left turn to front entrance and follow road round to the rear of the main house. You will find a small roundabout and No 9 (white door) will be directly in front of you. Car parking is to the left but you can park at the front door to unload.Hope you enjoy your stay in Scotland!
