5 Bedrooms , 3 Bathrooms , Sleeps 10
Eyemouth, Scottish Borders, Scotland
Old Linthill is a large holiday house in the Scottish Borders that sleeps 8-10 people. Located one mile West of the picturesque fishing port of Eyemouth, the secluded seventeenth century Scottish tower house is perched on a hillside in the centre of a beautiful small estate with private trout fishing on two rivers and woodland walks.

There are four bedrooms on the first floor plus a ground floor bedroom with additional king-size bed giving accommodation for up to 10 guests in comfort. Two of the bathrooms are on the first floor and there is a shower room/WC on the ground floor.

The ground floor bedroom and bathroom may appeal to guests who are not keen on stairs, although it should be noted that there is a short flight of steps to the front door of the property.

About the neighborhood
Eyemouth is a pretty fishing village that still has a working harbour. The town is steeped in history which is best discovered at Gunsgreen House, a magnificent and historic property overlooking the harbour which is now open to the public. Here you can discover the history of smuggling in the area as well as the story of the house and the port of Eyemouth in general.A few miles up the coast are the local beauty spots of St Abbs and Coldingham. St Abbs is a diving hotspot, with an excellent marine centre and a myriad of wrecks around the rocky coast. Coldingham is a pretty village with a ruined priory and excellent beach which is know for its surf. The entire coastal area is well known for its unspoilt natural beauty and stunning walks.
