A stunning 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom house situated in the Central Highlands at the west end of Loch Tay right in the heart of Killin and set within Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, within a 10 minute drive of the Ben Lawers mountain range. It is arguably the most picturesque village in Scotland, surrounded by the most incredible and breathtaking mountains, rivers and lochs. The house itself comprises of three spacious bedrooms, each complete with an en-suite with shower and TV. The property is situated on 1/2 acre of land, complete with a spacious patio area with BBQ and a driveway large enough for four vehicles. In addition, there is a drying room located in the basement. The town centre - which includes numerous pubs, restaurants and shops - is a five to ten minute walk away. There are two golf courses within a 20 minute drive of the property. Fabulous House
Stayed over Christmas at this amazing house. Everything immaculate. Mike is an exceptional Host and has thought of everything to make your stay relaxing, Loved the wood burning fire so cosy! We had a lovely meal at the Courrie Inn on Christmas Eve, the people there were so friendly. One of the best short breaks we have had, will definitely return. Thanks again Mike!

Fantastic House!
Great house in a good location, with everything you could possibly need. Owner also incredibly helpful which made things even better. Would definitely stay again.

Killin House
Comprehensive instructions on finding and accessing house provided. House very clean on arrival. Very comfortable accommodation for 6 people with all rooms en suite. Excellent open plan dining/kitchen/living room area with balcony and outdoor seating. Good outside space in garden and secure storage for outdoor equipment in garage if required. Short walk to all village amenities Thoroughly recommended.

Fabulous
This is a fabulous house in a beautiful location. It has everything that you could ask for and is spotlessly clean .The attention to detail is second to none .The village and loch are in easy walking distance and there are some good pubs and cafes in the village .We will definitely return

Great house
Bal-Na-Colle is a fabulous house with great open plan living and extremely well equipped throughout The owner was great at keeping in touch and appreciated the guide and information books they had left Killin was lovely place and definitely recommend the Courie Inn for food Would definitely book again

Brilliant House in a superb location
Brilliant house in a superb location Prior to arrival Michael answered any questions we had really quickly supplying us with useful information, the pre arrival instructions and information was also helpful and clear. The house was easy to find just off a quiet road on the edge of Killin. It’s in a perfect location just far enough from the village for peace and quiet but easy enough to walk to the pubs, shops and local trails. The house was immaculate and modern, the bedrooms and en-suites were very clean and fitted out to a high standard, the kitchen area was great and the openness to the living and dining areas made for a great social area. The new addition of the log burner (which was easy to use after following the instruction) was a real bonus and unexpected and made for some good nights in. We had three cars in our group and they easily fitted on the drive with plenty of room to spare. There’s plenty to do in the area, I made use of the bikes which Michael has in the garage along with helmets etc however all this proved was I’m not as as young as I used to be but useful all the same. Killin golf club is worth a round at £22 with some unusual and testing holes. We ate and drank at the pub (The Falls of Dochart Inn) just down the road, the table was easy to book and they had very good COVID precautions in place making you feel comfortable and relaxed. The Local Co-op was well stocked however we booked an Asda delivery prior to arrival which was really useful and well worth doing. There’s loads to do and see in the area so much so we ran out of time to do all we wanted but at least that gives us an excuse to return. Overall the stay was great and only made better by the standard of the house, it was good to see that Michael obviously reinvests money into the house and it feels more like a home that just a holiday rental making money for the owner. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back to the area and we’d only do so if this house was available. We couldn’t recommend it enough.

Lovely house with everything you could want. Very comfortable, very clean, convenient location and fairly private also. Owner was very helpful and ensured we had a comfortable stay throughout. I would certainly visit again.

Perfect stay in a lovely house
Bal-na-Coille was an absolutely lovely house really well located for walking and enjoying the magnificence of the Highlands. It was very well equipped and the host made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay special. Lots of room, incredibly clean and very comfortable. Highly recommended

Ideal base for Scottish holiday
We spent 4 nights here at the end of September and it was the ideal base to see all that Scotland has to offer. It offers brilliant access to both East and West locations like Fort William/Ben Nevis or Aviemore and the Cairngorms, all of which being under 2 hours drive away. The cottage itself was beautifully finished, had spacious bedrooms and the open plan living space was the perfect mix of comfortable, clean and functional. Watching the sunrise over the mountains from the balcony or through the large French doors in the living area was a particular highlight. The owners have thought of everything in terms of equipment and supplies and we didn’t once find ourselves lacking. Killin itself is a beautiful little town and the cottage is positioned perfectly within it, close enough to walk in to town (10 minutes), but far enough away to be peaceful and serene. We are already planning our next stay and couldn’t recommend it enough!

Lovely spacious house - as good as the pictures, easy access to Killin
The house was great with a fab open plan living area that suited us perfectly, beds were cosy and comfortable with 3 classy en-suites and a family bathroom. This is luxury accommodation that easily sleeps 6 plus a dog! Mike was on the ball when we were short of towels and it was resolved within minutes. Loved staying here !
