The cottage was absolutely spotless and the scenery was amazing from the conservatory. Everything was provided from toilet rolls to Dolce Gusto coffee pods. There was a field cross the road with 2 very friendly horses. A 5 min walk down the road to the little harbour. Carradale Beach was a 20 min walk away which again was spotless with a great stretch of sand.

We have just had a great week at Kelmscott cottage in Carradale. It was ideally situated for us, being only a very short walk to the golf course and to the hotel. Also such a wonderful view from the conservatory over the sea and out to Arran, especially beautiful as the sun was setting at night. Carradale beach is lovely, scenery round about fantastic. The cottage was spotless, with all Covid precautions in place and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Just had a week at Kelmscott and it suited us perfectly. Three of us and two dogs, and perfect weather for the time of year. It has everything hou need and is very comfortable with a view to die for. Would definitely stay again. Suitable for walking, golfing, ishing, eating and drinking. PERFECT.

We came up from Essex over the Christmas period the place was beautiful had everything we needed never done a trip like this before but would definitely do it again and recommend it the scenery is breathtaking the last 45 minutes drive to Carradale was a single dirt track thought we’d taken a wrong turn then saw such beauty we went for lovely walks then just chilled by the fire in the evenings we did have a tv but hardly had it on.

We found the cottage was well equipped, really comfortable.We especially enjoyed the view from the conservatory and the wood burner.

We spent a week in early May at Kelmscott. The bungalow is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. There were a couple of very wet and windy days when we used the wood burner to great effect keeping the place cosy. The location is superb with a fine view across the Kilbrannan sound to Arran. We walked to the Carradale Point and up to Deer Hill for even more spectacular views in brilliant sunshine. The road to Campbeltown though narrow is wonderfully scenic (except in the mist!) We spent a magical day exploring Craskey Bay and the Mull of Kintyre with its views of Islay, Jura and the Irish coast. Highly recommended.

my brother and his family stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed it, the house has a great view, is warm and modern through-out and they had a greta time.

We stayed here for a family wedding and it was simply perfect. The facilities in the cottage were outstanding and everything you needed was provided. We loved the wood burner which was all set for us and there were lots of extra touches which just added to the charm of Kelmscott and Carradale. Thank you Norrie and Ann.

Been coming to Carradale for decades and this is the best accommodation yet. Every possible extra thought of. We will definitely be back.
