The Mill at Easter Corrie is situated high on the side of a secluded glen in the Cairngorms National Park. About the neighborhood
Glenlivet Estate is the perfect destination for walking, wildlife and whisky. Over one hundred miles of waymarked trails enable visitors to explore the stunning landscapes of this unique highland estate. It's clear rushing burns, sheltered glens and rolling heather hills offer the perfect antidote to the pressures of modern living. Speyside is home to almost half of Scotland's whisky distilleries. It is the ideal place to discover the fascinating history of Scotlands best known export. Tomintoul is the highest village in the Highlands. Just seven miles from Easter Corrie, it is situated at the junction of several old Scottish droving roads. Today you will find quaint local shops, together with a good selection of places to eat and drink.
How to get there
The easiest way to get around Glenlivet, the Cairngorms and Speyside is by car. However many visitors prefer to travel here by rail or air and just hire a car for their visit. Our nearest railway station is at Aviemore with a regular service from Edinburgh, London and the south. Aberdeen and Inverness airports are about equidistant. Both have regular flights from the southern UK and Europe.
