Our aim is to make Mable’s Cottage a real home from home for you, your family and your four legged friends. We supply a small larder including, herbs, spices, oils, tea, coffee.
We also supply dog beds, bowls, towels and furniture covers free of charge.
Our comfy cottage has two bedrooms one King Sized and one Super King Sized or Twin beds as you require.
Both bedrooms have flat screen TVs with integrated dvd and free view.
Our lounge has a solid fuel burner for those chilly winter evenings, a three seater sofa and two arm chairs while our flat screen tv has Sky plus and integrated dvd.
Our large garden is securely fenced in so that your dogs can roam freely without any worries.
We chose Mable’s Cottage because of the great reviews, photos and the 100% dog friendly description - we were not disappointed! What a fabulous home from home, superbly stocked, cosy retreat to celebrate my birthday, our dog’s birthday and our 25th wedding anniversary. Massive thank you to the owners for making us all so welcome with cards and gifts. Great location to walk to The Uig hotel in one direction and The Fairy Glen in the other. And if staying put indoors there is an infinite supply of reading material and games. But not to be missed are the huge array of birds who visit the garden thanks to the well stocked bird feeders - kept us amused for ages!

Superb Break
We absolutely loved this place. Set in the most breathtaking area next to the Fairy Glen with stunning 360 views. My husband and I and our 2 dogs felt like we were in a home away from home. Our dogs Wallace and Nessie were very relaxed and enjoyed cosy evenings in front of the fire after very long hikes in what I can only describe as some of the most beautiful landscape I've ever seen. Mable's Cottage provides everything you need for you and your 4 legged friends to be very comfortable. Highly recommend. Thank you.

What a stunning cottage!
Had an amazing time at Mable's Cottage. The cottage is just perfect, very cosy and welcoming! The owners have done a great job and have thought of everything you could possibly need. The garden is very secure and the dogs loved it. The location is great for exploring North and central Skye. Even managed to see the Northern Lights from the cottage. I can't recommend Mable's Cottage highly enough!

Great Very Dog-Friendly Cottage
This is a cosy, spotlessly clean,very well equipped cottage and only about 5 minutes from Fairy Glen. We arrived to find a welcome pack for us and our dogs which was great after our journey. Mable's Cottage has everything you could need for you and your doggies and has a lovely garden too. There are two hotels (Uig Hotel & Ferry Inn) nearby. Just down the road is Uig Pier where there are various shops, cafes etc. and you can take a ferry to Harris. The cottage is well situated to explore the north of Skye and there are some great walks in the area.

What a place
we were blown away by Mabel cottage. Skye is mind blowing lay beautiful and the cottage in its quaint and peaceful setting is the perfect place to enjoy the island and provides a wonderfully cozy retreat to get back to every evening, a real home from home. Alan, the owner also phoned to make sure we had everything, a real nice touch. Can't wait to go back

Perfect pet friendly cottage - well thought out
An excellent base for touring Skye. Located very close to the Faerie Glen and Uig. A lot of thought and effort has gone into making the cottage welcoming to visitors. A well equipped kitchen and utility room . Totally dog friendly again with little extras to make them feel at home. Lovely gardens - ideal for sitting out watching the world go by especially the local bird life - we even spotted a pair of golden eagles. Would highly recommend
