The house is fully equipped and very welcoming ! However, mind the walk-in shower : it's very narrow and someone alone in a wheelchair can't use it ! From there you can enjoy Tobermory just as you like :: colourful houses, welcoming pubs... You can also take your time to discover An-Tobar centre or go to the farm nearby. If you are fond of nature, then you can go to Caligary Bay or Aros Park. You can also choose the ferry that will take you off the coast, trying to hunt wildlife scenes. We all hope to come back !

Fabulous cottage, photos don't do it justice. Well designed, sturdy build, deceptively spacious, modern fittings and decor, well equipped kitchen, minutes from Tobermory (a well stocked Co-op, a petrol station, fabulous bakery, bar and restaurants!!). Great base for exploring the island. Very quiet with the exception of the cockerel at break of day, every day. The cock-a-doodle-doing can be heard in every room 😴

We have stayed a lot of properties in the UK and abroad and I think that this was the most well-appointed property we have ever stayed. The living area was fantastic and two good-sized bathrooms as well three very comfortable bedrooms. It is about a 10 mile walk down into Tobermory - although probably more like 15 minutes return journey uphill. Only 1 niggle no BBC on the TV - still it enabled us to miss the election!

We were very happy staying in this cottage for a week. It was clean, well equipped, good furnishings and within walking distance of Tobermory (downhill fine but quite a puff going back!!!). Taxi available if needed! It has 3 bedrooms, 1 king ensuite and 1 king and 1 twin sharing a bathroom. Excellent showers. Good sized kitchen with an open plan dining area and sitting room. Our hosts husband makes many things out of antlers. Some of his pieces are in the cottage. Loved them. Lots of information left in the cottage. Plenty parking. Bench table out the front and bench at side...real sun spot! Hylda came to show us the house and we were left wine and shortbread. Much appreciated. Excellent restaurant next door, The Hebredian Lodge and Tobermory Fish co 2 mins walk.

Friendly welcome . Clean and well presented accommodation. My only complaint the double bed spring mattress had a spring sticking up and the bed was uncomfortable. Although the accommodation is set on the main road going into Tobermory there was no traffic noise evident.
