In the bathroom you'll find fluffy, white towels and Hebridean Seaweed toiletries. Free Wi-Fi is provided as well as a TV/DVD player with Freesat. Outside each cabin has it's own porch and enclosed decking area with love seat - ideal for sipping something cold as you watch the sunset over the sea, or something hot as you spend an evening stargazing and hunting for the Northern Lights. We also have a Grillikota BBQ Hut (available at extra charge) where you can grill and dine at your leisure by the water's edge - whatever the weather! Hebridean Huts is the ideal base from which to explore all that the island has to offer, including miles of golden sandy beaches, excellent wildlife and bird spotting opportunities, walking and fishing from your doorstep - and of course, the Standing Stones at Callanish. It's the ideal place to escape to for a spot of Hebridean luxury and to experience this remote, rugged and romantic location first hand.

Amazing location, amenities, and views - highly recommended for a visit.
Iain's hut is incredible - the views are amazing, and we personally saw an otter, various sea birds, an owl, bats, and many sheep during our stay. I'd highly recommend booking the BBQ hut, as Iain sets everything up nicely and it is located directly on the coastline. The amenities inside the hut are carefully thought out, and we were able to make simple meals and relax in comfort. The wifi was also the fastest we experienced anywhere, including Edinburgh. Iain himself is a very accommodating and responsive host - I hope we get a chance to stay here again!

Fantastic!
We took a bit of gamble deciding to go to the Isle of Lewis at the end of October but we could not have had better weather. Staying in Harebell hut was definitely the highlight of our trip! The huts are deceptively spacious with plenty of storage, really cosy with great insulation and a good sized shower room. Everything you need is provided, including a nice welcome hamper. It's a fantastic location for stargazing, we had amazing starry nights. A wonderful retreat with gorgeous views. The BBQ hut was brilliant, take torches if you are using it after dark. Iain is a fabulous host, nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely loved our stay.

Utterly stunning secluded paradise...
This is one of the best places I have ever been. Anne and Iain's cabins perch on the edge of the sea in the north of Lewis, 30 minutes drive from Stornoway. The only view is rugged coast and sea. We were lucky with the weather to have a picture perfect sunset. The cabins are comfortable and well equipped. Hosts exemplary. Pretty much the perfect place to get away from everything. Thank you, we WILL come again!

Cozy, picturesque wonderful place to stay
Loved staying here. Quirky, cozy huts. Finished to a high standard with everything that we needed. Great for wildlife - saw seals and Eagles. Would love to return in better weather (v wet and windy when we visited). Boiling eggs in the toaster worked brilliantly!! The BBQ hut was a fun change to going out for dinner and would definitely recommend..

Magical Island Retreat
Spent two wonderful days at Harebell Hut in the Outer Hebrides on edge of the Atlantic. Exceptional standard of compact self-catering accommodation with fantastic attention to detail and use of high quality local products. The welcome basket was very well received!! With only Alpacas, black sheep, sea birds and the occasional seal for company it really was a magical island retreat.

Great place to start our Hebridean trip
Our week long trip started with a two day stay in the Hebridean Huts. We've stayed in similar wigwams / huts before all around Scotland but this is something else. The location is amazing, right at the top of the island. We were fortunate to get dry and sunny weather on the second day which literally transforms the place. The hut felt very luxurious with two single beds, all the facilities you need plus a hamper full of goodies. All you need is to bring yourself, some food and drink. I was so looking forward to seeing the alpacas but the owners had sold them a few days beforehand :( Would highly recommend this placed for something a little different!

Amazing! My fave place on Harris/Lewis
We loved this place. Such a wonderful landscape - the view out of the windows and from the door was amazing. Waking up to the fog and sheep right outside my door was wonderful. The "Glamper" was appointed very nicely.... Premium soaps, gorgeous local pottery, lots of sweet touches (Harris Tweed pillows!). I'd go back in an instant.

Enchanting
We were very lucky with the weather for that time of year. We did not want to leave. The seclusion and the view captivates. The hut is a perfect cross between a hotel and camping. Make sure you pop into 40 North delicatessen for a bite to eat in Braggar.

a truly memorable stay...
Great standard of accommodation. The hut is incredibly well appointed for its size, & to have the Atlantic literally on your doorstep is fantastic. My daughter still talks about "her" alpacas, & the BBQ Hut - a must-book Will definitely return - more of the same weather please... And Iain & Anne could not have been more helpful or welcoming.
