We have stayed here several times and each time the property and the location has been excellent and has been a great base for walking around the Aberfeldy area.

We stayed at Boltachan in August, returning after a fantastic holiday the previous year. We were not disappointed. Again we had a fabulous time. The house is really beautiful, as are the gardens. The location is great, with just a short walk into Aberfeldy. It was an adult family holiday so the ladies had a spa treatment, the guys did the paddle boarding and rafting. We had the dogs in the river Tay, and lots of walking. II cannot praise it enough. It was perfect! Thank you Claire.

Our family (6 adults and 2 young children) had a wonderful fortnight's holiday in Aberfeldy. Boltachan Dell was perfect for our reunion. We had excellent communication with Claire at all times, who was very helpful when we had to postpone our booking because of Covid travel restrictions. Both the house and garden are so well designed and contributed to the success of our family get-together. We found lots of places for peace and quiet as well as for large family meals. The well - equipped kitchen meant we ate together for most meals, although there is no shortage of places to eat within walking distance. We all loved the sound of the burn running down the side of the garden and spotted several red squirrels amongst the trees. The location of Boltachan Dell couldn't be better - we paddled in the river just across the road, walked to a nearby castle and distillery and made frequent visits to the excellent local bookshop and cafe. We have brought home some wonderful memories.

We stayed with our family, including dogs for a long weekend. The house was just as it is portrayed, we were not disappointed, it is a beautiful house and stunning garden. We had mixed weather so we managed to eat outside for some of the time on the patio. The boys all went white water rafting locally, which is highly recommended. The girls managed to fit in a massage, again locally, after a pleasant walk along by the river Tay and found a fabulous coffee shop. The local walks are stunning, would highly recommend The Birks of Aberfeldy. We could not have asked for a more perfect weekend. Thank you.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Boltachan Dell! Our family group comprised of myself and my wife, our three daughters aged 24, 22 and 19, our 13 year old son and our elder two girls’ partners. It was a a fantastic venue for us to all be together to chill out over New Year - the house is perfectly located, beautifully decorated and furnished, and excellently appointed. This is the third consecutive year that we have booked a holiday house for the whole family over Hogmanay, and the feedback from everyone is that Boltachan Dell was the best venue we have had! We have already re-booked!

Spent a wonderful week in Aberfeldy, the perfect location for our family with ages of 4 to 74. House was everything we could have asked for and was within walking distance of the town. Inside was spotless and very comfortable. Nothing had been overlooked - from kitchen equipment, linen, books, games & DVDs. Garden too was great - tables, chairs, barbecue, swing and tennis net - with loads of car space. We wanted for nothing. Highly recommend this beautiful house in a beautiful location.

This is a beautiful holiday home just a short walk from Aberfeldy town centre. It consists of high quality facilities, with two very comfortable sitting rooms, one downstairs with Freeview TV and Netflix and Prime, and one upstairs for those wishing a quiet time. There is also a badmington court at the bottom of the garden, which our children used every day.

Boltachan Dell exceeded our expectations. We were eight adults who hardly knew each other, though related, when we booked our Scottish rendezvous. We had space, excellent mod cons, light and comfort. The location is absolutely central to so many heritage sites and beauty spots. We went as far as Oban, Inverness, Fort William, Callendar and Stirling. Many days spent in the Tay Valley, walking, chatting and eating out. But the kitchen/dining facilities are wonderful and we spent many evenings cooking our dinner and enjoying wine late into the evening. For all of us, it was home.

Great place with all that you will need to have a fantastic stay. More than enough to keep all ages amused locally.

Grandparents, parents and grandchildren had an excellent week in this wounderfull house. We had arrived from around the world. Edinburgh airport is only an hour away. Grandparents claimed the down stairs bedroom with walk in shower. Grandchildren claimed the balcony and twin bedroom. We all gathered in the spacious lounge and dinning area. A walk up the Birks of Aberfeldy reminded all of the walks we did together when Granddad was a young man. 😀. A great bonding experience.
