We always struggle to find one-bedroom accommodation but this is one of the best. The apartment is very comfortable with a separate lounge. The kitchen is by far the best equipped self-catering we have stayed in. The apartment is very clean throughout. We visited with...More

About the neighborhood
Port St Mary is a beautiful village in the south of the Island. It has a pretty, working harbour and a sandy beach at Chapel Bay. Within a few moments walk are most of the village amenities including a convenience store, Italian restaurant, cafe and newsagents. Patchwork cafe just around the corner serves a great breakfast, uses mainly local produce and has free wi-fi for customers.
Port St Mary also has it's own golf course, great walking (including the Raad Ny Foillan, the island's coastal path) diving, and railway station where you can board the heritage steam railway to Port Erin, Castletown or Douglas.
Getting around
Port St Mary is well served by local public transport including frequent buses to and from Port Erin, the airport and Douglas and the historic steam railway.

The apartment is centrally located within the village and really easily accessible by bus, steam train or car. It's a short ride from the airport and only 20 minutes or so from the Sea Terminal in Douglas.
There is restricted parking immediately outside the apartment, allowing overnight parking but being limited to 2 hours during the day (8am-6pm). There is plenty of free parking elsewhere in the village.
