Overview
Cottage -
2 Bedrooms , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 4
Crail, Fife, Scotland
No. 16 Westgate is a newly refurbished, and refurnished, quaint 'B listed' 18th Century fisherman's cottage located in the picturesque East Neuk village of Crail.

The cottage is located at the top of Hens Ladder, a stone pathway formally used by fisher wives, which leads directly down to Crail harbour and a sandy beach. Rock pools are found just beyond the beach. (It takes our bucket, and spade, equipped 13 year old, and 11 year old approximately two minutes to get to the beach from the back gate!)

Crail has all the local amenities you would expect to need, a friendly butcher, baker, chemist, corner shop, and traditional green grocer. Lobsters and crab can usually be purchased from the harbour. There are also various cafes, pubs, restaurants, and galleries all within walking distance.
