The cottage is located 1km from Ballygally village on The Causeway Coastal Route in an idyllic rural setting. Arriving at the cottage there is a sense of 'stepping back in time'. The surrounding farmland and gardens provide a peaceful haven and the panoramic views of The Irish Sea, Scottish Coastline and Antrim Hills are breath-taking. Nearby attractions and places of interest include: - The Meeting House pub (aka 'Matties' less than 1km. Traditional Irish pub with its quaint interior, good food and traditional music sessions on Thursday evenings - The Armada Tree in the graveyard of St Patrick's Church. Local legend dates it back to 1588 and sinking of La Girona. - Picturesque Ballygally Beach 1km - Game of Thrones Door 1km
Getting around
The town of Larne and Larne Port are 8km from the cottage - 10 minutes by car. From Larne the train and bus stations provide regular services to Belfast and other . Both stations have car parking available.
