Cosy cottage
Hillview Cottage was the perfect base for our 4-day break in Dorset. It had everything we needed, was attractively furnished and a lovely cosy base to return to at the end of the day. The cottage was well equipped with clear instructions; eg for gas fire and rubbish disposal. A dedicated parking space was a real bonus as Corfe can get very busy. The central location meant we could walk from our front door to the castle, village store and places to eat (tho we mostly ate at home owing to Covid restrictions). A pretty, enclosed garden was a lovely place for al fresco breakfast or an evening drink. Many thanks to the friendly and helpful owners.

great location
This is a great location in a beautiful village of Corfe Castle, everywhere is dog friendly with everything you need is in the village you get spoilt for choice,Our cottage was ideal for 2 and a dog comfortable and cosy with everything we needed.Just at top of the road a great big common for dog walking. We wished we could of stayed longer, but hopefully we will go back.

Quaint Cottage
A quaint cottage, had all amenities. A quick stroll to shops, pubs and castle. Good wifi and owners very helpful.

Cosy comfortable cottage in a great location
The cottage is comfortable and well equipped and in a great location for walking and exploring the area with our dog During our short stay we walked to Kingston and Studland and travelled the stream railway to Swanage. Plenty of lovely places to eat out and a comfortable cosy cottage to return to and relax In the evening We would recommend a stay here and hope to return again in future

cosy & homely in beautiful Corfe
Charming thatched cottage within the centre of one of the country's most beautiful villages. Pleasantly surprised for it to be actually bigger inside than the photos give it justice (usually it's the opposite). As soon as we walked through the door we all felt 'at home' and comfortable, including our dog. The large open gas fireplace is a real gem and actually works better than a real fire as is instant and clean. Facilities excellent, including the first cottage shower I have had which is not solely designed only for those under 5ft 2! Rustic cottage charm as it should be done, other cottage owners could learn a lot from this one.

Lovely cottage, lovely location
This cottage was very nice and everything was clean and in working order. The transaction was easy and everything went well. Corfe Castle is a lovely village with plenty to do in the surrounding area. Would recommend.

A different Christmas
Just back from a 4 night Christmas break at this delightful cottage,full of charm and character and very comfortable for 3 of us adults and 2 small dogs. We had been wanting to get away for Christmas for a few years and are very happy we found Hillview whilst browsing for accommodation. Despite the weather we managed to get out for some lovely walks and pub meals (no shortage of those in the area) Christmas dinner was in the Greyhound a stone's throw away where the food was delicious. Highly recommend the cottage and this area in Dorset we Would love to visit again in summertime.

Hill View Cottage
We had a lovely holiday when we stayed at the cottage. All the village shops, pubs etc within easy walking distance. Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely cottage in perfect location
Just returned from a week in Hill View Cottage. Can't fault it. Cosy and very comfortable. Took our terrier with us and he loved the dog proof garden! The cottage is perfectly located in the village and the ideal base for a week. We didn't need to drive far at all to find lots of places to visit and paths to walk. The parking space in nearby car park was great too. Thank you!!

How to get there
To explore the beautiful scenery of the Purbecks, we suggest you have a vehicle but there is a very good bus system and the 'Steam Railway' running through Corfe Castle to Swanage. By Train: Wareham Station is 5 minute taxi journey. South West trains run directly from London Waterloo every 1/2 hour. By Air: Nearest Airport is Bournemouth (10 miles from Corfe Castle). Southampton (Direct Rail line to Wareham). By Road: The Scenic Route - Take the B3369 through Sandbanks, Poole across the chain ferry and continue along the B3351 through Studland and a further 4 miles to Corfe Castle. At the junction with the A351, turn left, 300m turn right at village square and follow West Street. House is 300m on the left.
