Parking: One parking space available at the top of the lane as you
first drive in on the left . It has a sign saying parking for 30 South
Mill Lane. Please note that access is via a very narrow lane.

your own beach towels)
Pets: 1 pet welcome
Pets information: Pets are allowed at this property by prior
arrangement only. Extra charge may be payable (up to £30 per pet per
week). Please contact the holiday cottage agency directly after booking
to arrange.
The parking is very tight ,but I knew that was so .so was prepared but on to the cottage itself .firstly the key is a struggle to get into the cottage ,back door once open is soooo difficult to close bottom left hand side ..needs a hard pull ,but as it's all glass ,you need to way up whether it's worth the risk ,of going out again ,to the garden.beds in the attic are very low and hard .back bed room window is draughty
The sofas are very old ,and we're in need of a hoover when we got here ,behind TV is dusty a couple of cobwebs above it ,hey you expect them loved the decor of the cottage open plan , seriously disappointed no microwave I don't want to be cooking full on meals while away,oh light bulb out in lamp,oh it's so cold when electricity goes off ,the boiler cupboard is locked was advised to speak to the lady next door ,as she has key .....no joy lady at work until later in the day used the log fire to compensate .weather was very wet ,hail and windy . beautiful place to gaze out of the windows

Lovely location but work needed in the cottage.
The location was fine for us. Parking might be an issue if you have a large car, there is a knack to getting in and out of the space. Sticky back door, worn out sofas, and no bedside tables were an issue for us. Confusion about check in/out times didn't help. No email reply from owner before arrival. Comfy bed, though. Very helpful neighbour.

I feel I was mislead about the dog friendly garden.
Having found the cottage advertised on dogfriendlycottages.com i phoned ask if the garden was dog secure and was assured that it is, however as soon as we arrived we were told by the person that manages the chage-overs that the garden isn't secure and that several dogs ahve escaped and we should kep our dog supervised at all times in the garden. This was also repeated on two printed notices inside the cottage. A quick look at the visitors book showed that we were not the first to feel we had been missinformed about this. If you have a dog and don't intend to baby-sit it in the garden at all times i would avoid booking this place. Also worth noting that we found the settees in the living room to be very uncomfortable and both returned home with back ache. Other then that, the location and the double bed were both very good.
