Barn -
1 Bedroom , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 2
Ashburton, Dartmoor National Park, Devon, England
The Granary Barn is a cosy self catering barn conversion in the village of Bickington, on the edge of Dartmoor. Set on a working farm (Lurcombe Farm Cottages) in 45 acres of gorgeous green countryside, this is heaven in Devon! With easy access to the moor and coast, the barn sleeps two. Located on the first floor* of the farms Shippon building, the barn is surrounded by rolling hills.

Comprising of a stunning living room, fully fitted kitchen, king size bed in the snuggliest of rooms and a shower big enough for two, this really is a romantic rural retreat.

The barn is situated in a beautiful valley on the edge of the moor but is the perfect base for exploring both moor and coast with the A38 Devon Expressway only a five minute drive away.

Barn guests have complimentary use of the tennis court, fishing lake, orchard and grounds, with f...

I feel so lucky to have stumbled across the granary barn after a wonderful few days spent on Sarah and Nick's farm. The cottage itself is beautifully finished with everything you need to be comfortable and then some. The views of the hills are lovely and the farm itself has so much charm. Nick and Sarah were very accommodating and...

The dogs on the farm were our favourite thing, especially scruff who was always there to greet us and even joined us on a walk. We ate at the restaurant which is owned...

Thank you for your review. We appreciate you taking the time to write. The dogs are little gems and can be bribed quite easily with chews! We are really pleased you had a lovely stay. Thank you for visiting the café too, the food that comes out of the tiny kitchen is testament to our talented chefs/team. Re the linen...

We had a three night stay at The Granary Barn recently as we were attending a wedding in Newton Abbot and wanted to extend our break to a day either side. Although the accommodation is off the beaten track it is near enough to all of the action and the local taxi firm were cheap and very reliable. Sarah and...
