I booked a 5 night break as a birthday surprise for my husband. Ian couldn’t have been more helpful in providing information about the location, eateries, things to do and how to make the holiday special for us both. The apartment was exactly as described and the excellent reviews I’d read were spot on. Ian and Liz greeted us on arrival and were easy to contact should we need them. The accommodation provided everything you could possibly need when away from home and most of the kitchen cupboard and cleaning items I took were not needed. We arrived to gorgeous edible treats and they’d also remembered my husband’s birthday. We even won £5 on the lottery ticket they left for us! The bedroom was instantly welcoming with Brixham harbour and the Golden Hind Museum Ship literally feet away. The bell on the ship could be heard throughout the day as the water in the harbour gently swayed and we loved to spend time just looking out of the windows, people watching, looking out to sea and being entertained by the locals. We’d had several restaurants recommended to us and visited a couple and also enjoyed fish and chips back at the apartment. There is a comprehensive guide/information booklet in the apartment but please ask Ian in advance for recommendations. We booked restaurants prior to arrival which is advisable especially in August. We’d decided to have a relaxing few days and enjoyed a ‘good walk’ every day. We loved the walk to Berry Head (and beyond) and more than once set off at 6am as the temperatures were soaring in August 2022! We loved exploring the town too and found a great place for breakfast and also ventured up and down the side streets and walkways. We only moved our car once in 5 days, we were more than content to stay in the heart of Brixham, at the edge of the water, amongst the locals (and the seagulls) and enjoy every minute the English Riviera had to offer. This was definitely a memorable holiday with immaculate accommodation in a vibrant and interesting location. We’d love to return one day. They are packed with useful and relevant information which will save you time on arrival and ensure you make the most of every minute in Brixham.

Fantastic hosts. Ian met us at the door and helped us unload the car. He gave us a quick but informative introduction to the property, local area and beyond. He escorted us to the allocated parking space and on the return walk pointed out landmarks, pubs and other attractions. On top of this there were numerous extras such as ample tea, coffee, biscuits and milk but also scones with cream and jam, wine, crisps and confectionery. Fantastic views, well equipped apartment in the heart of the harbour area with a variety of shops and eating places within 3 minutes walk. We certainly recommend a stay here and will return at a later date.

We won a 3 day stay at Onefishermansloft in Brixham. Wow it was lovely. Ian and Liz left lots of lovely treats and the apartment is centrally located on the harbour. Immaculate with everything you need for your stay.

This was our 3rd visit to Ian and Liz's apartment. It has everything you will need in here you need for a visit, beautifully decorated and little treats on arrival. It overlooks the bustling harbour with everything on your doorstep, lots of fabulous restaurants and shops and beautiful walks on the South West coastal paths. This will not be our last visit, we will most definitely be returning for plenty more breaks here.

This is a fantastic, immaculate home from home. The apartment is in a great location right on the harbour and a fantastic base for exploring the surrounding areas. Ian and Liz are great hosts who cannot do enough for you, the little gifts are a great touch and very much appreciated. We will definitely book again and recommend to family and friends who wish to visit Brixham.

Most beautiful setting and a lovely, clean and comfortable apartment. It really is our home from home and it give us chance to fully relax.

A second visit to beautiful Brixham, and such a fabulous apartment. The weather was amazing, and we didn’t need to take the car out much at all. Beautiful walks, great entertainment in the old fish market (which we could hear and see from the apartment!). This time we also made friends with the locals. They’re very friendly. We even got invited to dinner one night. Such a great place, great holiday, great hosts. I’m trying to persuade my husband to move there.....

We have stayed a in a lot of places around the UK in the last couple of years, from Scotland to Cornwall and loads in between so Devon seemed like a logical location for our next holiday. We booked One Fishermans loft and could not have been happier with our decision. To wake up everyday with the view of Brixham harbour every day was magical and the attention to detail Ian and Liz put into their property and service to guests was faultless and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to family and friends. Not only this but I have no doubt that we will be back ourselves sometime soon. The whole experience was perfect.

Myself and my wife visited for Easter. Ian and Liz were exceptional hosts. The accommodation location was super for exporting the town and coast. Lots of wonderful places to eat and drink especially gluten free options. Would highly recommend!

From a prompt reply when booking to all the little extra's provided at this beautiful apartment it all made our stay comfortable and relaxing. Fabulous location, lots to see and do and the walks, especially to Berry Head, have the most amazing views.
