Excellent family stay at the Albany this week. Apartment was spacious, well equipped and maintained, and spotlessly clean. Swimming pool was a lovely facility that we used every day. The Albany is also well located with a bus stop just around the corner that will take you all over the island. Waitrose is a 10-15 minute walk away for your supplies. A car is really not necessary. Three pubs are located within a 10 minute walk so no need to go further in the evening if you don't want to. Our favourite was the bar at the Grange Lodge Hotel. We had a great holiday at the Albany and are happy to recommend.

High Quality Apartments
We were here for a family wedding on the island and decided to make it into a weeks holiday, so booked a two bedroom apartment for ourselves and our son and his partner. The apartment was clean and well appointed, with a good welcome package of milk, coffee, tea and biscuits. The water in the shower was only warm on the first evening, but the owner sorted this out promptly, and we had hot water for the rest of the holiday. Its a little way to walk into town, but there is a bus stop a two minute walk away. Owner was very friendly and helpful, and there was plenty of local info. Would definately use again if we were to come back to Guernsey

Home from home
Lovely apartments with everything you need, making it like home from home. Nice pool and outside space. Only negative is the floors are squeaky and you can hear people above walking around.

Thank you for your high ratings and honest comments. We always appreciate feedback and urge all guests to let us know in advance or during their stay if there is anything we can do to enhance their stay or rectify any problems if something is not as it should be. As with all buildings that have rooms above and below, we struggle with the issue of 'sound' transfer. In this regard, in the four units that have apartments above, we have installed the best underlay and thick carpets in our upper units which helps damper normal activity. Our goal is always to ensure the comfort of our guests to the best of our ability. We take sincere pleasure in welcoming our guests to Guernsey and are so pleased by your comment that our apartments felt like 'home away from home'! All the best Tracey

Highly recommended
We have had a great week here at Albany apartments. As a family of 4, the accommodation has been excellent for our needs. Close enough to walk to town but also on a major bus route. The facilities are great - BBQ, swimming pool, washing machine, games, books etc. We also need a late check out as our boat has been delayed and they have been very accommodating. I’d certainly come here again and would highly recommend it.

Fabulous place for relaxing (or energetic) holiday.
Our apartment was beautiful. It was lovely to eat breakfast, sitting on the balcony overlooking the pool. The whole atmosphere was very relaxing. Tracy was welcoming and very helpful (even after I failed to get the tumble drier started twice!).
Albany Apartments are well situated for starting cycle tours (hire bikes can be delivered to your door), or using the bus service to tour the island or do linear hikes (bus stop just around the corner). It is only a short walk downhill through the Old Quarter to the port, but be aware that it is a bit of a climb back up.

Perfect in every way
Tracey is wonderful and made the whole booking experience very straightforward. We stayed in the Victor Hugo suite which suited us down to the ground. Our accommodation was spacious, clean, well designed and offered everything we could need. It felt like home from home. St Peter Port is a short walk from the accommodation and the car park was a great bonus - it's the perfect location.

Always stay at the Albany
We have family here but always stay at the Albany so we can hand the grandchildren back at the end of the day and retire to our comfortable warm apartment. Superbly run and has everything one needs including free parking. Easy walking from the centre of SPP and close to bus routes. Super pool to use in the summer.

Excellent SC apartments, friendly and efficient staff
Stay every year, it just gets better, look at photos they do not lie. On a busy road but a peaceful oasis thanks to design of the building.

Fabulous Apartment
We could not believe the size of our lovely apartment. My teenage son was thrilled with the space he had and the outdoor swimming pool. The owners/management were very kind with supplying us with the complimentary milk, tea bags, biscuits and toiletries. We would recommend it highly.
Guernsey is a lovely place for a holiday, such a beautiful, spotless and relaxed island. I loved St Peter Port with the picturesque harbour and castle. It is very steep in places though and their is an uphill walk from the town to the apartments which would not be suitable for people with limited mobility.

The Albany is located in Guernsey & its capital St. Peter Port. Set against the spectacular backdrop of Castle Cornet, the town with its cobbled streets and picturesque seafront marina make St. Peter Port one of Europe's prettiest harbour towns. The High Street has the charm of a bygone era with small boutiques and gift shops alongside larger branded stores. Many of the business are family-run businesses that offer visitors a unique shopping experience. In addition to shops and restaurants, The Albany is within walking distance of many historic sites including Victor Hugo's Guernsey home.
