The Weavers Cottage is the only original town house in Graiguenamanagh. A beautifully restored 3 bedroom home originally built in the 1800's with doorstep views of the Blackstairs Mountains. Centrally located close to all the amenities Graiguenamanagh has to offer. Graiguenamanagh is on the bank of the river Barrow and at the foot of Brandon Hill.

We had the most amazing stay at Weavers Cottage. Close proximity to the town and river walks, plus supermarket, pubs and take-aways.
The house was fantastically well appointed with great facilities (and welcome pack... thank you Mary).
I hadn't realised the property didn't have WiFi, but it was actually really nice to switchoff from that for a few days.

Could not fault it
Beautiful, cosy, warm and welcoming house with everything you could possibly need. Easy check in. Lovely touch from Mary supplying us with breakfast supplies, teabags etc. Comfortable, spacious and a short walk to the town. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Really great!
The place was immaculate, the beds soft and Mary has thought of everything to meet traveler’s needs. The location is great for day trips in the area, too.

Excellent Accommodation.
Bright, spotless, spacious, well equipped accommodation. Beautifully decorated and pet friendly. Perfectly positioned for so many places of interest. The owner is very accessible for queries. I would recommend here to anyone looking for a home from home self catering holiday.

Perfect accommodation.
This cottage was to a very high standard. Clean and all you need is right there. All the home comforters & plenty of extras. Convenient for exploring the River Barrow and surrounding counties Kilkenny and Carlow. The owner Mary was very friendly and helpful. Mary was quick to respond to any queries whilst booking and was at the property to meet on arrival. Facilities are excellent, spacious rooms and bathrooms. Secure rear garden with lots of space for relaxing and safe for pets or children to play. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely try to visit here again for a longer stay. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic
We only stayed two nights but would have really liked to have stayed longer.
Very comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean, we loved the Weavers Cottage. Beds were comfortable and bedding and towels were good quality.
The kitchen was well equipped and we were very grateful for the essential supplies which were available on arrival, this saved us having to head straight away to the supermarket.
There is a small shop next door to the cottage, very handy.
Weavers cottage is on the road but very quiet. Parking is available outside the front door.
The patio / garden area looked lovely, sadly it wasn’t warm enough to sit out - but would be great in the warmer weather.
Booking was easy, Mary met us on arrival and explained everything we needed to know.
We are often in Graigue ( which is a lovely town) and will definitely return.
Thank you to all for a fabulous stay.

Beautiful home in a lovely, quiet neighborhood
This delightful cottage is spacious and has just about everything you need to have a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was spotless and bright and we felt very welcome when we arrived. I can’t stress how much we appreciated having a washer and dryer available (this was the only place that had both during the two weeks we spent in Ireland and Scotland). There is a very convenient grocery right next door and Marie seemed like someone I’d known all my life, she was so easy to talk to. The only negative I feel necessary to mention is the lack of WiFi at the home. These days WiFi is practically a necessity for travelers who need to have access to the Internet while they are so far from home and need to research restaurants, destinations, etc. I would like to gently suggest the owner invest in getting WiFi at the cottage, and then of course pass along the expense by raising the booking rate slightly so it’s not a big investment for them right away. Other than that, I’d stay here again in a second, it was a perfect place to spend three nights! Thank you for your hospitality.
By the way, a questionnaire after this review box asks if this rental has a desk. I’m not sure why this question is being posed, but there is a generous dining room table in the kitchen, and a coffee table in the living room. But I don’t think there was a desk in the home.

Home from home
We booked to stay here over the weekend whilst visiting family in Graig and loved our stay. The house was clean and just like a home from home. Fully stocked with all the necessities and breakfast foods.
Excellent location and members of the family have already booked up for another visit home later in the year.
Will definitely be staying here again :)
